VA 1993 Base Rx7 re-build, most of it is in the past

I have lots to share. My name is Patrick and this is my 3rd FD. My 1st two FD's I had were when I was in college and struggled with the cost of upkeep so I decided to play around with 240's. Fast forward to today and I am 38 years old with a career and money to spend now hahah. My current FD I picked up from a forum member 5 years ago and I was looking for something already built with minimal repairs needed. The motor was already rebuilt, it had 500HP and interior and exterior were clean (Boy was I wrong and I was close to giving up on this car. More on that later) but now I am happy with it.

If you want to follow me on IG @patrick.nomiddlename Ill start posting more of the build going forward. My current video is at the dyno at Angel Motorsports in VA Beach who did the recent rebuild currently sitting at 400hp. The rest of the IG account mainly consists of mountain biking and traveling

For now Ill post the current specs and a recent picture and then start sharing the rebuild process that occurred

about 6 months into owning the car, the fuse to the fuel pump starting popping (I changed the relay and installed a new inline fuse for a quick fix, but it just ended up getting worse like another year down the road). Noticed burning around the wires and the way the relay sat near metal surfaces with exposed terminals had me worried. I was already disappointed with the quality of work (lots of splices) I ended up buying a cleaner gas tank lid that didn't have rust and a new harness with it. I also decided to change up the bulkhead fitting.

Much better sealed relay
