Im just gonna dump pictures from the past few years. Ive had this car for 10 years now through college and other jobs, finding my way. I finally have my life together in the USAF and started making some real changes. Im gonna bring everyone on a little picture journey of the past few years with my 7.

stock suspension, mostly stock back in 2006


lowered it on some expensive coil overs and delrin bushings everywhere


went to my first duty station, added some carbon and some wheels.


re-did the fuel system getting it all ready to make some power.


car got keyed (stay away from crazy girls) paint time.


Right before it got torn down for v-mount + efr iwg 8374 at speedjunkies house (red one FEED front)


All put back together


First start


Doing some break in miles at garden of the gods.


I would like to really thank Elliot at Turblown for his help. Best customer service I've ever experienced, hands down. I can't wait to do some tuning tomorrow.

I had someone key my Acura MDX a few years ago, used the money for a full color change and when I saw the girl that did it I shook her hand and thanked her!

Thanks! yeah its come a long ways since college. Yeah its been a while, I have some pictures of your car at the autocross way back when.

 

Car looks good. Love the v-mount. Last pic looks awesome with the background.

 

Guess I should update this.

Had this happen, which has prompted building a real catch can system. I was getting ignition break up during tuning so that led to another mod as well.



Awaiting hardlines to show up so I can make the tubing near the exhaust. Venting both sides of the motor.



I drove the car today after installing the sakebomb ignition upgrade and re routing my brake lines (not usually needed but I am not running a stock brake setup). Noticeably more torque and everything ran so much smoother, 180k stockers vs the upgrade.



Gonna hopefully have a real tune on it by the end of this month. Barring any more snags.

 

Oh yeah, re-greased all the delrin bushings. Added solid toe links, the tired old stockers had a lot of play and replaced all the rotors and pads. Desperately trying to get it ready to do some time attacks/ autocross this summer.

Oil breather system done. Held up well in initial testing.

 

Nice catch can setup, I am thinking I will make something very similar as I have the same can and its annoyingly huge.

 

Was that v-mount a kit or custom? Looks good

 

The V-mount is a rotary-works kit. I am very happy for the price.

Flange not notched properly to fit = oil leak near exhaust.


modified to fit properly = good, no leaks. Now I get to clean up another oil mess...

 

What did you do? Just round out the hole a bit to adjust where it seats?

 

hey if you dont mind, Can you take some more pics of the diffuser please? I have been having a very hard time finding fitment pics to see if there are any gaps around the bumper.

 

finally done with oil catch can lines I think, just waiting on the fire-sleeve to show up for it.

haha sorry I'm failing you. Gonna put in a new motor, re-worked fuel system (getting fuel starvation on turns at 1/2 tank), adaptronic ecu and a tune by you this winter if I don't get orders.

 

I made a heat shield, keeps the intake manifold a lot cooler.

 

I did a thing. Track hood build, Maaaaybe every day if I can get it strong enough.

 

I think that would looke good if you ether cut down how far the fins stick up or made it flush. They stick up way to much right now.
