Ok, so to update folks, at the request of a friend (jacoolv6) and his wife, I'm looking at the weekend of Oct 22 - 23 for this years event. This date is tentative as of right now, I will post a new thread once the final date is set...

I wish to honor their date request because he left this past Monday (March 14th) he deployed to Iraq until late Sept/early Oct. Also, him and his wife are expecting their first child around Oct 6th... so, I want to make it possible for them to attend this year's event... so he can have a nice break after 7 months at a large beach with no ocean...

 

it is fun! just know that it's not a "Fall version of DGRR"... this event is considerably different... and this year it will be structured differently than the previous years... hopefully working better for the growing number of people attending...

I am in for sure now! Got my 7 fixed! I did need a new brain after all. Thought my mechanic didn't really know what he was talking about. Running great! Ok, finally... an update!!!

Please PM/email/text/facebook me if you plan to attend... I need to get a count of people to expect for when I buy food, since we all will be showing up at different times... or just "check in" with me before about 5 pm on Sat at the campsite... if you have any "special" request for food, give them to me at the campsite (or PM) and provide me with some $$... or follow me to the store...

I'm not doing a registration fee this year... but if you would like to throw some $$ towards food, that would be great!!! if not, well, then just enjoy the cook out and camping...
