Have been screwing around with woot(Shawn) since early November 2008. It's now almost the end of Jan. 09 and Still no part and no refund. All I get are promises and excuses. He told me he's finallly shipped it, at least 3 different times. He claims he gets tracking info on all his sales, but refuses to share it so we can't try and track it. Once, he blamed it on his girl friend for it not getting shipped. Beware!!! Not an honest person.

 

I've waited for a set of 5-lugs purchased from w00t in Jun '08. Like Terry222TT, I haven't received them and no tracking number of any kind has been provided. Now I'm waiting for a response to my request to a refund (since 01-03-2009).

There's a few threads here about him. Not to throw salt on your wounds, but why the HELL don't you people search prior to purchasing off a member. Seriously, it's not that difficult and you would've realized what type of person "WooT" is!


Simply from reading his posts I would choose never ever to deal with someone like that.

 

I bought my swap back in June, before his name popped up in the bad feedback section (first thread that mentions him in this section is back in August), and I had purchased from him before so I thought I would buy from him again. That and I was a naïve in believing in another member's promises.

Makes me wonder if I can file this as an "education expense" this tax season. :/

I wasn't online for a while there because my ex changed my password on my account before I got a chance to so I had to get in touch with DKJ which took forever to get my account back.

Yeah I know it took way long to get your guys stuff out my bad I'm sorry I got laid off and had a family death recently so my priorities shifted for a little but I'm back and I'm fixing this mess. You guys will get your parts soon don't worry.

Please do. The hardware should be in there with them if there are any bolts missing just let me know and I'll send them out asap.

 

Finally got my parts from woot (Shawn). It took 3 1/2 months, but I did get them.

I got everything last Fri. There were 4 bolts missing, but I found some that worked in my junk box.

Update: I got a PM from w00t on 23 Feb, with an offer to send payments or ship the hubs. I've asked that he send my refund through one PayPal transfer. I'd like everyone to know that Shawn is starting to fix things with me. I'll post additional updates as this is resolved.
