willub and company = slow to respond + slow to ship

willub and company = slow to respond + slow to ship
As title says.
Details: Willub and company had a T04S turbocharger/mani/wastegate combo for sale, he was asking $1k. I offered his asking price, he agreed. I paypal'd the money within 30 minutes of the agreement. I specifically told him to keep in touch(its alot of money to me to be paypal'ing). After a few pm's/emails/posts, I couldnt get back in touch with him, I didnt know if he was skipping or what, I contacted another board member that had left him positive feedback on this board to see if Willub(Christian) had a phone number. I called and left a message for him to call back, I sent emails with my phone number to have him call me to no avail. After 30 days of not getting the product and due to his slow responses or lack of responses, I decided to setup a paypal dispute(this was day 36 from once money was sent). He stated he didnt have a receipt number/tracking number from the Post Office(not ups or fedex, but the bloody PO! argg....) and also kept giving me very vague times like "I sent it last week", or "I think I sent it Parcel Post". To my surprise, Christian wasnt lying. The package was sent out October 15th, exactly 30 days after I paypalled him. After recieving the package on the 24th of this month, I inspected the contents thoroughly and closed out the dispute through paypal releasing the funds back to Christian(willub).
Things I have noticed in the package:
Good; Turbo charger has no shaft play in either x/y/z axis and has no foreign object chips or dings in the impeller, the compressor at one point was polished. He also included an oil line(although wont use) but also a slightly used 4" k&n cone filter extra(pretty cool). Turbo charger was shipped with duct tape over the impeller and exducer(which was great thinking)... but not the oil line hole(not so great).... he gets a 5/10 for packaging.
Bad; The exhaust manifold has been chopped up(from a tial four bolt to a vband style wastegate). Being from a family of welders, I had a hard time figuring out if (whoever did the welding) used a mig or stick, IT WAS THAT BAD. Their was no 'bead', it was one inconsistent blob that is screaming to crack under heat. No worries though, wont take me but 30 minutes to chop it, clean it and *TIG* it.
Conclusion: I will not do business or suggest ever doing business with this person again. This is not a personal attack on Christian, merely saying if given $1k dollars and to ship out a part in a reasonable time frame and cant even keep in touch, he apparently has too much food on his plate(being busy with school, work, whatever may be) or is too immature to take care of business(lathargic comes to mind). In his defense, he didnt lie to me once and he was able to pull through with getting it done.
Cliff Notes: Slow shipper, slow to respond or lack of response to emails/phone calls/pm's/threads. Would not recommend unless you are local and meet face to face.

Christian is a good friend of mine hes usually more prompt but i will say, hes at school in a different state and his parts are all in his garage so, it might be a while before hes able to get home to do ship things, and while im not saying it should take that long, merely that "**** happens"

^ I agree **** happens, if he would have told me it would be 30 days until he ships it, I would have took my business elsewhere. Lack of communication is one of the biggest complaints for negative feedback, if he was upfront about the issue, he wouldnt be getting negative feedback. A simple message would have been "hey bro, I wont be able to ship it till I get back in town, It might be a month, do you want your money back or can you wait??".

Christian is a good friend of mine hes usually more prompt but i will say, hes at school in a different state and his parts are all in his garage so, it might be a while before hes able to get home to do ship things, and while im not saying it should take that long, merely that "**** happens"
