ok,so a long(i mean ridiculously long story )kinda short:

i saw truebluegallos's post about a ka24de swap kit for a fc.(https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-rx-7-1986-1992-parts-194/sr20-ka24-swap-kit-894577/) initially he said he wasnt selling it anymore,so i said fine,no big and continued on with life.
then about a week later he contacts me saying hes selling it again,and i said im interested,i ask for pics,and he throws some pitty trip on my *** saying i looked like i wasnt trusting of him,so whatever,he tellms me the shop where he got his kit made and i look at there work.pretty decent,so i guess pics wouldnt really matter.

so i also notice hes selling PBM coilovers,and ask if he wants to sell me those as well,done,no big deal,a few days later i send him 1450 via paypal.

Initially I said he can take his time,i wouldnt need it for a while anyways,like a month wouldnt have been a big deal,but he came up with TONS of excuses,so it ended up in me submitting a complaint to paypal for him to send it out to me,and when my friend got it(cuz im in Afghanistan right now) he said it was missing crap(driveshaft,power steering lines and clutch lines)also,truebluegallo offered me his radiator hoses and steering rack as a move in good faith. needless to say i got my coils,cross member,trans cross member and that was it,nothing more,nothing less. so i contacted him(again) and told him what was missing,he said he be on it within a day or two.at this point im still working with paypal and in the end they close the case due to they cant do crap about it if i didnt use a credit card or buy it off ebay.so right when i got the email(as im assuming he did too),i havn't heard from him.

still no parts,nothing at all! so,i contacted a guy in afghanistan with my unit,and he actually owns a lawyer firm back home,so once we get back home,i plan to take a trip nevada with aforementioned lawyer and go to court over it,or proxy lawyer, its not like i dont have the money,and i was told if hes found guilty,he'll have to pay for my fees/transportation..fine by me i got enough money to get there,and paypal has all documents,,


oh ya,and i remember looking at his other posts,saying he wanted a deposit from dan chilton back cuz he was tight on money,and the cross member i received,looks like absolute crap!ill post pics and conversations later


moral of the story is,never trust an 18 year old who has no money!

That was a pretty big red flag though.


escrow looks more promising all the time. I've never used it, is there some reason not to?
