bad transaction with Willtet

i got a longblock from Willtet after he stated that it was in good condition and his friend stated that all parts were good. once i got the crate, opened it and see that for some reason they decided to dismantle the engine backwards. Rear housing was off, rear rotor housing was off also. front cover, front rotor housing and center iron were all bolted together. i had to torch it, impact wrench the **** out of it, and eventually use a foot breaker bar to loosen the front bolt. once i got the front rotor out i noticed that the front side housing was useless due to a broken off o-ring channel. i contacted willtet and told him the issue, sent him a pic so he knew i wouldnt bullshit him. he said he wanted to be a fair seller and i told him i wasnt gonna rip him off either. we agreed on a $200 reimbursement for cost of damaged housing. this was 3 weeks ago. he says he has mailed it but we all know how that goes.
at this point, dont trust this guy. i'm not worried about the money anymore, but if you're gonna sell something and agree with the buyer on a resolution, stick to it.
