he is talking to precision about the issue. you may have to send the turbo to them but they are saying they can change just the wheel. let me make sure this is truth before anything. if it is we can get the ball rolling with that.

 

If he could just change the wheel great! I think it looks like its one piece with the shaft though.

making progress i guess. it will be the turbine wheel and the shaft. so the compressor wheel comes off and you slide it through is what it seems to be. ill have more updates soon.

but Steve's been ridiculously busy as of late so, hes working on it, i promise you he is, but when your busy, your busy.

hey sorry for not responding in the post. the guy i am dealing with is also slow lol. i have tried to resolve it directly with precision but they want me to go through a distributor. ill try and keep you updated more often.

actually yes i do finally. first off i have been sick of waiting myself for any info. so i have been in contact with limit engineering. so he is quoting for a turbine replacement. but he said it will only be an estimate.

not so good. limit told me they cant get just the parts. garrett keeps an exclusive amount of dist. for that. so back to precision. i contacted them again and we can go directly through them this time.... but they cant give an estimate without the turbo. so if you want send the turbo to precision and we can get an estimate. i discribed to them it needed just a turbine wheel which they told me was possible to change only that so lets go with that. pm me once you ship it over to them. -steve.
