IC3 report filed, I suggest you all do the same.

When I called him, I acted like I was interested in buying his car, and confirmed his name/address, once I had all that, I asked him where my Carburetor was...

He was not happy to speak with me "Who the **** do you think you're talking to?" and he gave me a false number for Hollie, so I'm pretty sure he lied about the whole thing after I told him why I was REALLY calling.

I filed one as well. Haven't heard anything yet and won't be surprised if I don't. Keep me posted if anyone gets a response back.

hiya guys....

ok, here's the deal...IC3 is good for getting the info together, thats about it in most cases. They compile the report, and send it on to the appropriate law enforcement agency--usually the local police department where the scammer lives. It is then up to that PD to do something or not. I speak from lots of personal experience when I say that.

So, here is what we need to do. Everyone who has been scammed by this guy needs to post here in this thread the following:

what you bought
$$ amount you sent total, including any shipping
who you spoke to--was it the guy or the girl?
date you paid(or approximate if you cannot remember exactly)

Please--have some kind of proof of payment handy because you will need it in the next step.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT go to his house--youre only looking for trouble that way.

Once everyone posts, we can put this all together and gift wrap it for the PD where he lives. Believe this--it doesnt matter at all who has the parts now--if they worked together at all, or if he had any involvement at all in the sales, then he shares responsibility for the crimes. Depending on the dollar amounts you guys are out, this will possibly end up being a pretty big deal legally speaking. So, post it up and we'll get this handled.
