Sakura FC: NOT a good guy (at this point)

It seams there was another problem with Sakura FC today just as I have also had a problem with him today.

On June 27th I received payment for two Infini FC seats.
Payment was for $700 and the seats were to be delivered to his home in California.
I flew out to California from Japan for the month of July and delivered these seats to him. His FC was sitting out front, with a blown motor from his last drift event.
I even compression tested his motor for him to confirm it was blown.
After the compression test and him putting the Infini seats in his Garage I left.

I can still remember exactly where he lives.

"Sakura FC" = Roderick Granada aka Rick

Here are some PM convo's we had. I like how in this one he tells me he has been seeing my sales for the last 5 years and finally had the money for these seats, and that he will definately not ask for a refund...

I am going to be in Las Vegas from Friday morning to Monday night. So I could get the seats from you either before or after that. Thanks again!

PS: Your $700 is fully refundable until I leave Japan which hopefully will be before the end of the week.

After that it is still refundable but you better have a darn good reason

Once again thanks and speak to you soon.

If you would like to pay a deposit of $100 that would be fine and I will consider them sold to you.

If you prefer to wait until I get out to California then that is also not a problem

If you do happen to send a deposit please be sure to list what you are putting a deposit down for and also please list your RX-7 club screen name as well.

Thanks and speak to you soon.

update

I just tried to reach good ol Ricky by phone.

A sweet young lady answered the phone and I asker for Ricky.
She told me I had the wrong number. I then asked if she had received other calls regarding Ricky. To which she said "yes".
I then asked her if she lived in Irvine? She said no I live in Central California....

Sakura FC/Ricky/Roderick Granada things are starting to look very shady and I would like to resolve this ASAP!

Here is the final set of PM's between us up until the night I delivered the Infini seats.

I brought my compression tester with me so if you want we can take a quick look at your compression when I bring you the seats. I will go and pick up the seats tonight and can deliver them tonight or tomorrow. If I deliver them tonight is 10pm or so ok with you? Otherwise any time tomorrow is ok with me.

You are welcome to call me anytime. My cell here in Cali is 714 ### ####.

Speak to you soon!

Well then that sweet young lady that answered the phone when i called may have been his wife. She said she lived in Central California. I also noticed he had mentioned on the forums he was planning to move to the Delano / Visalia area. Anyone up there have contact with Sakura FC ie: Roderick Granada / Ricky?

Paypal has moved this case to their Credit Card Fraud department.

Ricky (Sakura FC) if you are watching this you will need to act fast if you wish to avoid police and other authorities investigating you for credit card fraud. I can assure you this is no joke and that the penalty for credit card fraud is not going to be fun for you, your wife, your family nor your future.

I received a message from Ricky today. He informed me that he had a number of paypal problems recently and thinks that my case and apexhittinbull's case may be related. He said he will correct this for us. I will updated with more news as I get it.

currently both Apexhittinbull and I do not want this to become an escalated issue. We are awaiting Sakura FC's chargeback claims to be returned to our paypal accounts.

I saw his maroonish FC parked out in front of the house. He said the engine was done so it probably wasn't his daily at the time.

Ok things are moving along. Sakura FC contacted paypal last night immediately after he and I had messaged back and forth. He informed paypal to cancel the chargebacks. From what Sakura FC has told me, a family member of his and he are having issues and that family member decided to contact Sakura FC's fathers credit card company and cancel/ reverse payment on any of the payments through Sakura FC's paypal.

I am sorry to hear about the family problems Sakura FC, but I am thankful we were able to contact you before this case was moved over to the police for credit card fraud.

For the most part this thread is done but I will wait until apexhittenbull and Iget our money back. Then I will close this thread.

Sakura FC, Roderic "Ricky" Granada:

You need to fill out the paypal affidavit form for the chargebacks and send it back to paypal.

My paypal was wrongly charged back and I have been out $700 for over a week now. Please get this resolved ASAP so that myself and apexhittinbull (Jay) can get our funds back.

Update:
Myself and Apexhitttinbull had given Roderick "Ricky" Granada the benefit of the doubt and were trying to keep from ruining his future by filing police reports against him. Ricky seemed to be cooperative at first and told me that he had used his dad's credit card to make the purchases and that his Mom was angry at Ricky and reversed all the charges he had made using his fathers credit card. His parents are fully aware of the purchases that he has made and that he received these products. Thus his parents are equally guilty in the fraudulant credit card chargebacks. We had given Ricky until November 2nd to get the chargebacks reversed or to send payment for the lost funds during the past month and a half that we have all had locked paypal accounts. Come november 3rd myself and Apexhittinbull will be contacting the police as well as the FBI internet crimes department. We both have significant amounts of money that were taken from us and are at the point that we can no longer afford to play wating games.

SakuraFC aka Ricky aka Roderick Granada,
I hope you are prepared to face the consequences for you and your parents actions.

Jross427: I highly recommend you contact Paypal if your transaction was through paypal and let them know that this is not a single incident regarding Roderick Granada. Inform them that thre are atleast 2 others just on this forum that have had the same issue with Roderick regarding fraudulant chargebacks. You can inform them of my case# if you wish. Here is my case # PP-001-083-417-456

sorry i havent been on for a while, but my chargeback claim was reversed by paypal. dont know to much about the specifics, but i had given paypal the tracking number saying the product was shipped and received with a signature. paypal said they were reviewing the case for about two weeks and the funds were returned to my account. i dont know if it was because mine was shipped or something if it was easier to prove, or it was a much smaller amount than your guys transactions? let me know though if you any of my information if it will help you guys get your money back. thanks tom for keeping me posted on the situation, let me again know if you guys need my help for anything!

My money has been returned to my account, Ricky followed through and was helpful in resolving this problem.

For those reading this thread please understand that Paypal is worthless when it comes to chargebacks. Paypal has absolutely no power over transactions that are done by credit card unless you posess loads of physical hard evidence. In my case the credit card owner even called paypal and told them that he had made a mistake and paypal still could not resolve the problem until the credit card company decided it was ok.

My advice is to keep very limited funds in your paypal accounts, and if you ever sell and item and deliver it in person then you should demand cash payment and not paypal or credit card payment.

Ricky: Thanks for you help and please try to get a hold of apexhittinbull (jay) to make sure his funds have been returned as well.

This thread is closed with no hard feelings between myself and Ricky Granada/ Sakura FC.
