Angry Rotor Connection (xhengiz bajram) LIAR, RIPPED ME OFF

He was selling an HKS cast FD manifold, that was in great condition with only 12,000 miles. Well I got it and I took his work, I just opened the box and made sure it was the hks manifold for an FD. I put it away and when I was going to use it I noticed it has a crack.

I filed a paypal complaint and he straight out lied about it and paypal gave him the benefit of the doubt.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY!

Here is the dispute on paypal.

Notice where he lies!

From Buyer: Frisili Casasola on 3/26/2008 23:07 PDT
There is a big structural crack on the manifold. I was not told it had a crack. It is damaged, also the HKS manifolds usually have an HKS stamped on them. This one does not have any type of stamp or markings. The main issue is the cracked manifold.

From Seller: xhengiz bajram on 3/27/2008 21:54 PDT
i had inspected the manifold before i even posted it for sale, and it was fine i wouldn't wanna put a bad manifold for sale and have to deal with this and also this item was purchased a month ago and he never tried to contact me until now,if the item was damaged how come he didn't file a claim then but waited until now , a month later, how do i know that he hasn't installed it wrong and therefore causing the damage from improper installation.

From Buyer: Frisili Casasola on 3/27/2008 22:52 PDT
I have not installed the manifold. I can take pictures. It took so long because I have not had time to really look at it. Until just recently I took a close look and noticed a crack on it. I know this crack was not caused by improper packaging, because it was packaged well, the crack is from use or something else. Can I return this to you and you refund me minus what it cost you to ship it to me? That would be fair, and I pay for the shipping back to you as well. I would like to take care of this the easy way and not make it difficult. So no ones reputation is hurt. Thanks.

From Seller: xhengiz bajram on 3/30/2008 08:56 PDT
well i can not issue you a refund because i know that the manifold was in perfect cond. when i sold it to you and it has been a month since i did sale and i believe that you did the damage.I can also provide pictures of the manifold to show that there was no problems with it the manifold was brand new i never used it due to i never finished the car and had to sale all my parts.

From Buyer: Frisili Casasola on 3/30/2008 18:37 PDT
WHAT??? NEW?? you told me it had 12,000 miles! how is that new, the manifold was NEVER installed by me, i told you that. i finally had a chance to look it over and found the cracks inside it. now you are lying, i even have the PM where you told me that the manifold had about 12,000 miles on it. This is from your listing: "I got a practically new HKS cast divided manifold, with about 12,000 miles since i got rear ended and car is bye,bye.. I take $300 for it plus $15 shipping anywhere. Camera phone sorry for the pics"

From Seller: xhengiz bajram on 4/1/2008 10:03 PDT
im sorry but i never wrote that in the description, and i can not give you a refund its been past 30 days since the sale date idk what you done with it since then so im sorry

From Seller: xhengiz bajram on 4/1/2008 10:12 PDT
hello, the item i sold was in perfect shape and there wasnt anything wrong with it.also it has been over a month since i sold the item to him and since then he could have done the damage from installing it wrong,if this item isnt installed professionaly there could be a chance of damaging it , i beleive that he had tried to install it on his own and had installed it wrong and causing it to damage and the only reason i do not wish to refund his money is because its been over a month and if the item was no good what would stop him from contacting me right away when ever i purchase anything off the internet i inspect it once i recieve it just to make sure everythings in order once again my product was not damaged it was perfect

And paypal went with his side of the story!

here's a question--why didnt you provide a link to the paypal people, so they could see that FS thread for themselves? When you show them that he's lying to them right now about it being brand new, that would only make someone think "what else is he lying about?"

Contact paypal, let them know what happened and give them a link to the thread where he clearly stated that it had 12K miles on it. Show them that he's lying. I dont know--dont they have an appeals process or something?

damn bro

I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!

Vanessa made me cancel my paypal account after a similar incident, sucks that the person that helps a lot in the rotary community and gives the helping hand gets screwed.

Fris hes been a member since 2004 , i am sure as hell he has seen your name on the forums , selling or buying. You never had bad feedback and alwys gave the person the upper hand. I feel like this guy that robbed you was in desperate need of cash!...OR he was just plain DUMB to pass out a cracked manifold to a person who runs a business day in day out and knows what quality is.

In this situation, Paypal would always back the seller. They don't care about what was sent, as long as something was sent. It sucks, but that's Paypal for you. I very rarely use Paypal for that same reason. About a month ago, they decided to lock my account until I could send them reciepts for the items I was selling on Ebay. After that info was provided, they took an additional 7 business days "investigating" my receipts, the whole time, holding over $1500.00 of mine.

For anyone that does any volume of sales, I'd recommend getting a merchant account. They're not hard to set up, and money gets sent straight to your bank account.

I can't believe he just straight out lied like that, that's messed up.
