Arrow Japan2LA aka Brian Galloway sold me a junk motor $5800

If a moderator can contact me I need some help retrieving old messages and finding an original 4-sale thread to provide my credit card company with some info.

The 20b he sold me was supposedly all brand new parts. I finally had money to send the motor off to be built, and once we opened it up we found destroyed rotors, housing, and irons. The only thing useable is the e-shaft pretty much.

Obviously, with the recent 100 posts about this guy. It's safe to say that you shouldn't even buy a stick of gum from him.

damn $5800, did you buy this one (https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...e-f-s-1009447/). Cause that one says it was stuck and sold as is but then again $4300. If the one he sold you was said to be brand new parts, and you can prove that, then you have a very good chance to win a legal case. post pics of how destroyed the internals are.

I believe this is the thread:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...-938033/page2/

I have no way to retrieve old PMs....I looked in his visitor messages and saw nothing between the two of you there. You may have an issue trying to prove your case if this is the thread because a whole lot of time has gone by. At this point, it's possible that they would consider this your word against his. Please confirm when you paid him and when you received the motor, thanks.

Wow, this is dissapointing, one of the most reputable and reliable rotary engine importers turned into a complete liar and scammer. Plus this is (plus the other recent ones) transaction that people have posted on the forum who knows the total he's scammed from others too outside the forum. With the amount of money he took he could be anywhere unfortunately....

I believe he paid half on his card half paypal. There should be evidence enough right there... hopefully it all works out mike. I'm not soo religious but I am praying for you.... this is just absolute b.s. Funny though...japan2la was the first guy to message me after what I went through with bewtew and the crap he sent me. Japan2la had told me how sorry he was I had to go through that and how unfortunate it was. He then went on to how I should havce bought it straight from him. pfft.. are there any honest people out there? Wonder what the hell happened to him..either way a crook is a crook..no matter how many nice things they've done.

Local? Semi. Know him? No.
He'd better be watching his back because we all know what his car looks like? Definitely.

Mannykiller is correct. I paid ~$2500 on my CC and the rest cash out of my paypal balance, which seems all but gone now.

The payment date according to the info the customer service rep gave me when I called this weekend, was 1-28-11. I'm hoping I can contact I.B. if need be to recover some old private messages.

I have photos of each individual part, but this should do for now. If a mod needs I can send you a direct link to the photo album which shows everything in detail.

Do you have e-mail notifications turned on for PM's? The message would be in the body of the e-mail.

CC is sending me paperwork to fill out, but I'm afraid without being able to obtain the private messages between the two of us I'm probably S.O.L in that department. I'll be looking into what legal action I can take if I'm unable to make contact with him.

Brian strikes again. Sorry to hear man. He started going to **** about 5 years ago but no one wanted to believe it until about the 10th thread popped up saying he was a shady character.

Me ranting in here doesnt help your situation though. Best of luck man and hopefully you can get it all squared away.

Chip just finished cleaning all the grit and grime off the irons. They too are unusable. The motor is officially 100% loss, and nothing more then a bunch of paper weights.

Come this weekend I will be devoting 100% of my time, whether it be through an attorney, or other means to have this taken care of.

Thanks for all the support guys. Right now I really just want to sell everything and forget about the car scene for awhile.

... and nobody knows where he lives in LA? I've always been 100% satisfied with about 3-4 purchases from him, but I saw a lot of threads regarding him in this section!
