Thumbs down INDYPARTS= Questionable transaction!

Paid for headlight motor on AUG 29, he said we'll mail during the week. Almost a month and 3 unanswered emails; still no part.

Owning 52 RX7's doesn't mean ****. You absolubtely have no character. You could have email me and stated that it was going to take more time and I wouldn't of care. Now, since you are being a little bitch and not answering your PM's; hey no biggie. A complaint has been started and I will forever mention your lame practices to anyone that I deal with!.

I've got a bunch of parts from him before. If I recall correctly, parts are his side job and he typically takes about a week or so to ship because he has to find the time to pull the parts when he's not at his regular job. However, a month is unusually long for him. Has he been on the forum since you bought from him?

Juiceh,

This could be his side job or a once in a lifetime deal, it doesn't make it right for an individual to conduct himself in this matter. Got this email yesterday from him:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rey,

Did you receive the headlight motor? It was sent out on Saturday through USPS priority mailing. I had a confirmation number but I left it at the shop. I would have responded back to you through Rx7Club but I am unable to get to private messages or being able to post at all. I have emailed the Admin’s but have not received a response.

You will find in your package as well that I sent you both the driver and passenger motors.

-Rick
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sad part is that if he would have communicated things would have never gotten to this point. For example, I have purchased stuff from Kevin (Rotary Resurrection) and he told me flat out from the beginning that he could not ship prior to x amount of days. Great no problem, at least I know. Lack of communication creates doubts on buyer's minds, and tend to produce the feeling of conspiracy.

We'll see!

Well, I would have posted this sooner but for the past week my account has been locked out and just got fixed today.

Rey - Parts should be there soon. As stated above, they were shipped on Saturday through USPS Priorty mail.

Rick,

I got your email and replied accordingly. Once I receive the package I will let you know. However, do know that I do plan to return the passenger light since I do not pay for it nor it is the way I conduct business. I did not want extra money, extra parts or any special treatment; all I wanted is to be treated with honesty and respect as a customer.

Since your technical difficulties restricted your communication (eventhough you have to admit conviniently timed)- I do apologize for the above two fingers.

Thanks,
Rey

Rey,

There is no reason in returning any of the parts to me. I did not send it to you for you to return. If you don't want/ need it, then toss it in the trash or sell it yourself. Don't waste the shipping on getting it to me.

Please do let me know when you get the package.

**UPDATE**

Received the parts on 3 OCT 07 and the complaint with paypal has been closed.

Rick,

RX7***something sent me a PM regarding this message. While I am happy that this matter is now solved, my opinion still remains the same. It might have been a bad deal, bad time, bad iternet, or whatever; regardless, I will not do business with you again.

yea i ordered power steering lines and transmission sensors from indyparts.
they were crap!WTF did you drag it through the MUD and leave them outside before sending to me?
All rusted and the sensor wires were cut and wires were showing through.
I only used the PS hard lines to rack out of all the crap/garbage parts he sent me.
If anybody wants to buy parts from this guy ask him for pictures of the parts before he sends and he did take his sweet *** time.Personaly I would never buy parts from him again. What a F*cking waste of $50 bones!

you a-hole if he dosent like the parts refund the money.
I didn;t ask for a refund because $50 bux to find out your an *** was worth it. Everyone don't ever buy parts from this garbage man.

Well, I dont know what transmission sensors you bought, but it's common for that one sensor with the white/tan sealant crap on it to have the wires half broken and bare wire exposed where the wires meet the sensor. A lot of times they break off right at the sensor.

Also, you do know that not everyone has parts/partscars from the sunny, warm south...right? A lot of these northern cars are kinda rusty, but that doesnt mean that everything on them is bad. A pipe that is rusty is just as functional as a pipe that is shiny, so long as it doesnt leak and the fittings on the end are okay.

I say this not only because I know and have dealt with Indyparts personally, but also because I have parted out hundreds of FC's and dealt with a lot of buyers...the florida, texas, and california people tend to be the worst at expecting 20+ year old parts to look brand new like they were just pulled from the shelf at mazda.

I once had a shitstorm on the forum because I sold a 5 lug brake setup to a guy in california and he found it unacceptable that the brake rotors had SURFACE RUST on them...you know, the kind that happens after your daily driver sits outside in the rain all day? Yeah...that's what the guy was whining about, and would not believe me when I said that the first time he applied his brakes that surface rust would go right away. Some people are just not realistic in their expectation of old car parts, especially when they come off a northern car.

I too had a pretty lack-luster experience with indy parts. He's certainly not a scammer and he is good about communicating but around this time last year I had problems with him too. Here is my correspondence with him over some oil injectors and bolts. After he sent me the wrong oil injector he was supposed to send me another one but never did. I made due with the one I had and just said f*&@ it because I was tired of dealing with it:

Did you not get this email?

If you cant get me what I ordered please give me my money back. Again please respond and tell me what is going on.

Re: Wrong oil injector
You don't need to send it back to me. I will pick one up when I am at the shop and get it out to you.

I need the one on the rotor housing and you sent me the one that attatches to the lower intake manifold. The difference is that one is much longer both in the number of threads and the body. So how can we fix this? Do you want me to send the other one back to you?

i had a bad experience with him. He sent me mismatched speaker covers for my Turbo II (one was the base model style and one was the Turbo/GXL style) even though I specifically asked him if the speaker covers he had matched. Then it took him over a week to refund my money

I've dealt with indy a couple times, and even after reading all this I'd do it again. He is a good seller, had good communication with me.
