I think ive been ripped off by Mikwon

Dont buy anymore stuff from this guy. Not until he settles this MAJOR problem with me. I bought his turbo kit from him and all i got was the Turbo and some hideous thing that looks like a down pipe and wastgate. Its so fucked up i cant believe he even sold me this crap. The turbo is white, as if hot coolant was spilled all over it and all down inside the urbo itself. Now is that a good thing??? Can the turbo be damaged from that??? Now the Manifold and wastagte i dont know what the **** happened to it. It was welded together why, dont EVEN ask me and jb welded along with silicone???? I purchased a new Tial diaphram along with a 14.2 lb spring and i cant even open it up to do so. Like what the **** is going on??? I didnt evan want to take a picture of the retun line, no better yet I will after i post this because for the 3 things i recieved does anyone think its worth 1350???? I dont think so. He promised me a Down pipe, turbo, manifold, wastegate and all oil lines. I got One Oil Line, the return line, if thats what you want to call it, a fucked up manifold and wastegate and a turbo that i thinkIs going to blow smoke badly because it had a nice cup of coolant from the looks of it to drink! I didnt want to put this in the good guy bad guy section because he seems to be selling alot of stuff and I dont think anyone should be buying anything else from this guy until he does the right thing by me first because he could be selling you **** as well!

This is from the for sale section in the description:FS:Single Turbo AF61R setup, everything you need.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AF61R the specs are:
t-4 flange
modular center/backwall
.313 dia. shaft
compressor has 4" inlet x 3" outlet
1.0 divided turbine w/4" outlet
small "Q" trim turbine 76mm x 68mm
compressor is 61mm x 84mm rated 82% @ 18psi 64#/min.

The turbo kit has a thermal wrapped 3 Inch DP, thermal wrapped wastegate lines, and is in excellent condition. It comes with turbo, CAST manifold, Wastegate, dump tube, oil lines, heat wrapped downpipe.

$1,350.00 SHIPPED.
Via paypal.
Pics soon.

I got some shitty *** ebay manifold, holy christ, i didnt even see that before, Cast manifold my ***, no down pipe and missing a buch of ****. Dont buy crap from this guy until we straighten this out. He even posted pictures of stuff i didnt get. WTF??
Hers the pics i took. Half the turbo is White, and the wastgate is just ruined. Im gonn atake pics of the oil line that he sent, ******* Garbage!

I did the research and its a XS power manifold. What happened to the Cast Iron manifold? Oh and theres shaft play on the turbo, this is supposedly another turbo he bought from, someone else on the forum because he blew up his original one. But why the hell is there coolant all over it and inside of it is my question. Im so pissed off right now its not even funny i sent this guy 1350, waitied patiently for more than a week and got crap. I sent him a private PM of some arrangements that we need to discuss and settle but i just wanted everyone to know before they buy anymore stuff from him. I dont want to bash your name Mikwon but we have to settle some stuff beofre i file a claim with pay pal.

ok, first off, turbos will turn white unless they're polished, due to heat and elements. and most likely the manifold is cast iron. show me a picture of your manifold, i can't see it in the picture. some people weld their wastegates to the flange, did you ask him ? for 1.3k, you're not gonna be getting a "great" deal, unless you're damn lucky. sounds like this is the first turbo you've purchased. in conclusion, not a clean job but you got your money's worth. unless he promised you otherwise.

xspower manifolds are the manifolds on ebay for 100 bucks they are made out of cheap stainless stell that crack easily...if you think about it if you spend 1350 you should get good stuff but just used...some of those parts dont look name brand and are very cheapy

Okay spoke to Viking War Hammer who sold him the turbo. He said its just some cleaner/degreaser so it should be fine.

And yes the manifold is stainless steel. Not Cast in any way.

And um s-theitkz i dont know what the hell your smoking but for one this is not the first turbo ive bought and two no they do not turn white. That **** looks straight up like tooth paste all over it but thats been cleared up by Viking War Hammer. And maybe you didnt read correctly but i CANT open the wastgate. The screws on top and below have like jb weld / welding bits all over it.

I paid 1300 for just my turbo(new) alone, you cant buy good used turbo kit for 1350. sucks you got such crap but what did you expect for 1300. Now if it turns out to be a xs power manifold I would be pissed cause I would say by the looks of it your waistgate is the most expensive piece you got there (if thats a real tial 46mm and not a knock off) I would send it back and for my money and save up for a good complete turbo kit but look at spending around 1800-2200 depending on turbo. Maybe take an extra month or two to save the money and find something worth buying but in the end you will be much happier with the results. I gave my self a budget of 2500 before starting my single project but i ended up spending more than 3200 by the time it was done, but I am happy with what i have now and thats what matters. Good luck.

Chris

Its not the money, i dodnt mind spending the money for something that would bolt completely up but it wont without a DP and oil feed line/ an fitting. And not being able to open the wastgate up to switch out internals that might be blown like the original turbo sucks *****.

I just hope we can come to an agreement and settle this. Some birthday gift to. Day was going perfect until I opened my B-day gift and dam near cried.

That is an XS manifold. I dont know what the reasoning is behind welding the wastegate to the manifold. but thats hardcore!!

Did you not request pics sent before you purchased it?

Wow, thats some nice weld job!!

I hate to see **** like this happen to fellow 7 owners.. but its becoming a common thing on ths forum (as it happened to me by some scammer named Jason Evan aka Sonix7).

Since my incident, I don't trust anyone that I haven't met.. I always ask for pics and I always buy it from those who have actually contributed to the forum (not some newbs who posts one liners).

In your case, I don't know if you didn't ask for pics or you just trusted the guy.. But it definitely didn't come with cast manifold and waste gate dump looks like ***!

It is a strange picture, really. Because the numbers are the same (669825A), but on the one he got the 055BS is plainly visible, and on the one from the ad that had been ground off. So...yeah, I'd say they are different turbos altogether.

should be in good/bad seller section
I reported it a while back...as soon as a mod sees it I'm sure it'll get moved
