This guy used to be a member of this forum. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. I'm sure he was probably a great vendor at one time but it appears that his business has closed and he has left it's website up and running. I ordered 12 feet of silicone vacuum hose in early Nov. and never received anything. I was also completely unable to contact anyone through the website, two phone numbers, email, or this forum. I filed a claim with my bank this morning. Learn from my mistake and do not buy from this website!!!

My credit card was charged Oct. 15 and never received my order. Also talked to my bank about it

 

Wow, this really sucks. I've ordered some stuff in the past and got it fine, so I just ordered a bunch of stuff a little over a week ago. Haven't received anything either. We definitely need to shut this guy down.

 

BTW, I just looked at what by bank account was charged and it shows ELASTOFAB TECHNOL00 OF 00 702-5268762 NV Date 12/05/07. So I'm guessing that 702 number is their number, which I just called and it says out of business. I also called and emailed a complaint with Zoovy (The ecommerce side). email them at abuse@zoovy.com

Yup, same one I tried. Looks like our best chance is the Zoovy. Its only 30 bucks, but still I'm pissed.

Well I left a message and emailed Zoovy, and got no response. Guess I'll go to my local rice shop for silicone. Only prob is, they usually only carry 4mm.

 

You can always find out where the site is located (by the "contact us" link or by the area code) and call the local police.

My bank (Wachovia) actually gave me the money I lost back and they will do an investigation into the company. Don't know what that entails though.

I placed an order through HoseTechniques.com, same order I lost to HighTemp at half the price.

Jim ripped me off too and is in Vegas if you look up elastofab technologies and his name. The phone # he has listed in the phone book is a kid's cell phone

 

I bought from him in the past with no issues, but I did notice that he stop selling a long time ago hence it says we are not shipping till June 4th (07). If you ordered in Nov, thats 6 months that he has not updated his site. It should have looked odd at that time. I always like to call before I order just for this reason.

 

Vibelife the number has been disconnected for some time now, they probably gave it to someone new now.
