Regular mail is fine, you know how it is .......... I'm impatient! LOL I have an 83 parts car and I'm building an 81. I'm putting the Holley and intake on it, An aftermarket header and presilencer (probably an RB setup), replacing ignition (haven't decided on MSD or original with mods, Gilmer style pulley system, aluminum rad, new oil cooler, remote oil filter setup, all new hoses and lines, fuel pump and regulator, shocks, springs, sway bars, new brakes and bushings, and I'm doing my own custom interior w/ fiberglass panels etc.

it's obvious that both of these emails came from Joe himself--the "girlfriend" claims he was in jail as of 4 in the afternoon on 7/31, but four hours later, he emails lopez with details about the rotors he's selling on craigslist. The guy's clearly trying to run out on his buyers.

Also, Easton and Reading are not right next to each other or anything--they are two counties apart from each other. He's using a PO Box and western union to cover his tracks.

This is all the more reason why all of you need to get involved on this. By the way, a basic check of the inmate searches shows that he is not in lockup right now, not that we didnt know this already...

Update: Paypal has refunded me the 150 US doll-hairs. However, because its an off ebay purchase, it's suppose to go into 'partial recovery'. It basicly means that he's allready pulled the cash out of his paypal account and they'd normally pursue him legally or credit wise to get my money back. However, I called them and they happily refunded my money instead of making me wait.

Paypal deserves huge recognition for this. Still, let's get this suckah

Ok went to the bank today to withdraw my money and found it was still frozen So I called payapal ad they said there investigation was going to take another week. Tobias when did you file a claim and when did it go through?mines been over the 10 business days they said. The douche bags at paypal built me upbto bring me down. OK JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH PAYPAL **** THEM! was on the phone for 2 hrs literally, i talked to 5 different people all the way up to the security manager. and the verdict is, IM SCREWED OUT OF MY MONEY. The deal is, Joey dosent have any money in his account, SO they cant refund me my money even though they have 13 different claims for his BS activity, They said theres no way in hell im gonna get my money back or the other people who have had claim filied. since it wasnt a ebay user the security is different what they call "BEST EFFORT", They try their "best" but they wont guarantee you a damn thing if its not through ebay . They also told me that because i notified my bank (like the paypal employee told me to do) And the bank sent the paperwork saying the transactrion was unauthorized , and the bank took the money back, they will give me a negative -650 account balance for my paypal. becuase of the word unauthorized, I asked them what word should be there and they dont even know SO WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE IS RETARDED!!!!! The only thing they told me to do was contact the seller. MORONS! I am contacting the police department here in michigan , i know a couple of detectives over here, see what they can do , this is deifinitly a federal issue and they said the fbi would be notified because its over state lines and over the internet. SO thats all i can do. USING PAYAPL IS THE SAME AS A WESTERN UNION MONEY ORDER!!!!!!!! I am also contacting my local news department crime solvers, And the police department in PA. It would be best for everyone to contact the Police at one time so we can get this as a "class action". I am out of a job, out of 650 thats to get my only car i have running again, and no one to help me life is about as good as it gets. I am not restying until i find this guy, or i get my money back.

in the future u should use a credit card to fund your paypal so you can try and do a chargeback if paypal wont help you.

first of all there wont be a future because i wont be purchasing anything through paypal or over the internet for that matter. im not going to get screwed again. ever. and i have my paypal linked to both my bank and credit card, it draws outta the bank unless theres no money then it will use the credit card. The bank has taken the 650 back from paypal, but wont release it until paypals investigation is done, and even when paypals investigatyion is done paypal isnt going to do anything because they cant find the guy and hes not gonna pay, they said they can send it to a collection agency thats gonna get me knowhere. like i said im screwed, and thanks to this forum im broke and without a job. I had the lady tell me im sccrewed, and theres not a damn thing i can do. And im without a car! cant trust anyone anoymore. I cant even get another REAL rebuild kit for my motor one becasue im broke , and 2 if i was to use anything my bank/credit and paypal account are frozen. How can a company be in business when all they do is screw innocent people. I have sent emails to channel 2,4,7 "problem solvers" those guys who go around exposing frauds, but i sent them the information reguarding PAYPAL. how can i company boast such a high image when all they do is screw people when Something wrong happens, If You have been refunded from paypal, tobias i know you said you have, i would love to know what the hell you said to get them to refund your money, because i talked to every level of employee i could talk to and nothing. did you notify your bank? did you use a credit card? You can PM me with particulars if your more confortable. Im really freaking out, here guys, i know nothings gonna happen fast. but i just dont understand how in the hell someone else got their money refuned, even though joey dosent have anymore in his account.
