I was stirring the pot to try and get mods to take action... I'm sure they would have without my banter - but I don't think I negatively effected this thread at all. If I did - again - I apologize... but I feel I concisely addressed the issues and picked apart the sellers logic.
Most of all, I'm glad lukes received SOMETHING for his money... it's just a bummer he didn't actually get what he paid for. I did however offer to help him get anything from the states shipped over.

The ostrich isn't you. The ostrich is the seller... and to defend ostrich's in general, there's nothing inflammatory or offensive about them as a species - if ostrich's start asking for apologies, that's on you.
Bottom line: It was 19 days without any word from the mods. lukes posted, I posted and it got some attention. Again, I'm sure mods would have stepped up eventually - but the result was the same and that's all that matters.
Again, I'm sorry you felt offended and inflamed being compared to an ostrich. Again, that wasn't meant to be you.

Alright,
Now sorry to bring up what was thought to be dead.
Upon dissassembly of the sump it was found the main shafts key way is chipped ....
Now the chip itself is no where to be seen , leading me to believe the dry sump originally failed and was then opened, cleaned and put together ready for sale .
If anyone can help on where to source this part , would be greatly appreciated !

Just found out from Mazdatrix this is also the old design of shaft ,
The Shaft IS available $188.13 (and does not matter if it is the larger pump gear 20B or 13B pump)
BUT they changed the design.
The shaft now has a taper somewhere, I think at the threaded end (no, nobody has a picture, but I remember this from last time).
THEREFORE you need the “new” gear to go with the “new” shaft for a paltry $434.19 MORE.
