BRIDGEP0RTED don't buy his motors...
So I got him to build me an s5 streetported motor. We setup to where I send him the money in payment plans and he ships the motor to me. We settle on a deal of $2000 for the motor shipped. Well we go back and forth about the motor and finally he starts the process. It has been over six months and still no motor. He makes up a bunch of excuses and still can't get me the motor. Finally after the long enough wait for him to build it, he says it's finished he just needs to save up some money to ship it. I gave him the money for the motor already which included the price of shipping. I shouldn't have had to wait this long for the motor much less for him to save up money he appearently spent already. He said he will through in some extra turbo parts to make up for the time and head ache. Well still no motor because he doesn't have the money. We end up driving to his place to pic it up. Not only did the drive suck, we also caught a flat on the way there. We get the motor and the parts, it was dark and we were tired from driving so we talk a little then leave. It was my fault not to check the motor or parts before leaving but found out later at home I was in for a little suprise. The motor wasn't finished being built. One exhaust stud was stripped and I couldn't get it out. Another was missing and the port job was horrible. Chunks of metal were just floating in the oil that was on the inside of the motor. The parts he gave me weren't useable so that was garbage. I sold the motor to a guy on here, not knowing about the interior condition of the motor until after he buys it. It turns out the housing were screwed, the rotors were rusty, and some of the corner seals were missing. I paid the guy the money back to fix the motor so he could get his car driving. David said he will not pay us the $800 we gave the guy because he claims it was a perfect motor. Myself, my friend, his dad, the guy on the forum and his mechanic all looked at the motor and new it was crap. David just slapped this motor up to someone who didn't know much about rotaries and ran away with the money. I don't advise buying anything from the cheap SOB. Not only am I out of $2000, I am also out of $800 to pay the guy back, the money in gas we used to get the motor which he said he would pay back, I lost work time because I didn't have a car to drive, and just a lot of hassle. Save your money, time, and headache and don't deal with David.

that's horrible.
Rule #1 when getting work done to your car. never cover more than the cost of parts up front. Look at the final result before paying for labor and any other expences. It'll give the ****** incentive to not **** up your motor next time.
It's a tough lesson to learn, I'm sorry anyone has to go through that.

I have pics of the full build there was nothing wrong with the housings except that there was one exhaust insert missing (i gave him a great condition tII rotor housing to remove the insert from if he wanted) the engine sat forever at your place uncovered before you sold it thats why the rotor was rusted. There is no way i forgot corner seals i use factory corner seals with 93+ springs but i do not use the rubber inserts if thats what you mean. I told you that if you had any problems with the engine starting or running for 10,000 miles i would warranty but it has been through too many hands for me to know whats the truth. I will give a list of people you can contact who have had engines built by me and are very happy. I will admit i took way too long on your engine because i was going through some medical problems but i did try and make it up to you with free parts . As you told me the engine was not covered so the dirt/etc could have come from where ever.
Anyway i will let this go and let my work speak for its self.

No I told you that I had the wholes covered on the motor, the only time it wasn't was when I would turn the motor over to keep it from seizing up. So if turning the motor over with oil in the motor will cause it to rust, then yes it was my fault. The parts you even gave me weren't even worth anything. The turbo and manifold had cracks all over it. I am willing to talk through pm or email about this.

Just curious on why not use the rubber inserts?

I just want to know, will you refund my shipping and the money I used in gas to come get it that you said you would refund. You didn't reply to email nor pm. So are you willing to refund the money, yes or no.

Still haven't heard one thing from him yet about refunding my shipping or gas money. Funny how when it comes to them paying you money back, they don't answer to anything. No e-mails or pm's, nothing.

I am giving him until Feb. 5th, if I get no response then, I will be going to the courthouse with all of his information that I still have. I won't be asking for just $300 either. All I am asking you David is to just refund my money that you said you would pay us back.

Sorry to Hear
Just wanted to help a fellow rotor head that I know is a good person and bent over backwards to rebuild a motor for me and it has been perfectly fine since... It did take him some time but it was well worth the wait. Point is I know he would never screw anybody over intentionally and I dont' want a good person getting his name trashed. he rebuilt my s5 n/a motor... polished the rotors, mild street port, all new seals and what not. He worked with me payment wise and everything... he was very friendly and threw in many free parts for the time inconvenience. Not saying your situation isn't unique, but just so you know I have dealt with the guy for many things i have needed and he has always done me right.

Well after all this time, he still hasn't sent me the money that he owes me. I am not worried about the motor. He said he would send me the $300 back($200 for shipping and $100 in gas to go pick it up) but still hasn't. I figured if he was a good enough guy, he would send that to me like he should. There is no excuse to why he shouldn't send me the money he owes me.
