Brian aka "bshatch" left me out to dry
Drove almost 2 hours down the NJ turnpike to buy a differential from Brain "bshatch".
Supposedly a Turbo Differential. Got it home, opened it up to check everything, and realized he gave me the WRONG DIFFERENTIAL. It was for an N/A.
Contacted him to try to set up an exchange. DOESN'T BELIEVE ME. He gives me the run-around, asks for pictures and technical proof that it is indeed the wrong part. So I sent him pictures. Try to contact him again by phone. NO ANSWER. Send him almost a dozen PM's. Months go by. NO ANSWER. Never heard back from him.
Then he replies to one of my 'Wanted to Buy' threads, TRYING TO SELL ME SOMETHING ELSE. And I find out that he OPENED ANOTHER FOR-SALE THREAD. I called him out on it. and his response went something like:
"YOUR LO$$ IS MY GAIN"

I'd hate to see this happen to someone else.

The mods are actually trying to figure out what to do about him.
The more info they have on him and his dishonest business approach, the better.
I just sent "rx7roller02" a PM with pictures and details regarding my situation,
I suggest you do the same if you think brian is jerking you around.

OK, heres the skinny....
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati.../#post11396565
Referring back to this post, we can see the difference between a TII and an N/A diff. The N/A has three bolts along the top, while the TII part has four.
So, this is an easy comparison....here is the pic from Brian's FS posting:
Below, I have attached the pic that Justen sent me this evening.....
Anyone care to mention what they notice? This is not the same part at all that is in Brian's FS pic. It is definitely an N/A part and not a TII part. There are only 3 bolts on the top of the housing, not the 4 that the TII has.
Moving right along, there is no legitimate reason to charge someone $120 to spend $28 on shipping. Simply ridiculous. I know Brian has not been on in a few days the last I checked, but he will have a PM in his inbox when he returns, informing him that he is not to sell as much as one bolt on this forum until these two deals are made right. And then, if he chooses to step up, we will talk about whether or not he will be allowed to sell at that point.....guys, please keep me informed, thanks

None of your posts have been deleted, and no such post shows up under your post count. Was this a PM youre talking about? It wasnt a post because if it were, it would still be here.

bshatch has beeen permanently banned from this forum now, due to repeated efforts on his part to ignore moderator instructions and to continue selling when instructed not to.

Well, this kinda stinks, I was in the middle of getting some parts from Brian and now I can't message him anymore. I know some have had bad experiences with him, but I have had good transactions with him.

it wasnt even the bad transactions that got him banned--it was also his total lack of honesty and respect for the terms of service. If you want to do business with someone like that, thats on you, but that nonsense has no place here.
