Beware TypeRlee - Lee Dutton

I'll try to fill this out as accurately as possible. I'm sure some people have had good sales with Lee Dutton, and I'm sure there has been bad.
My transaction with Lee started off great. He was selling a set of Cwest sleek headlights for the FD for a decent price so I figured I would buy them up (link below)

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-parts-99/c-west-headlights-870255/

He claimed the lights were in great condition so I decided to send him an offer. Following are a ton of pm's and emails and texts.

Hey Lee,

The lights look great. Are there any imperfections in them? Cracks, scratches or anything? This is non-hid?
Wouldyou by any chance have a photo with the lights on to see how they project?

I want these lights! Would you do $650 shipped? If you use USPS shipping will be minimal to Canada, in comparison to Fedex and UPS.

Please let me know as soon as you can. Sorry if my responses are a little slow since I'm not around the computer all the time.

thanks

I can include shipping for 700, the lights were 1300 new. Im sure we can work something out. Ill take some pics of the lights on tomorrow, luckily I have yet to remove them. They are non HID, the front end of my car has been lowered about a half inch since i put the lights on, so the angle a bit toward the ground.

The high beams are my favorite, they are yellow. true JDM. I absolutely love these lights, I just need funds for new suspension.

I have other parts available as well, including a good condition passenger side door panel, A/c panel, ultra rare Polished rx7 scuff plates (Need alittle tlc) A carbon fiber VIS hood (Stock style, no venting), a set of low mileage twin turbos, and a used HKS Dual air intake.

Anyway, pic will be sent tomorrow. Thanks Mike.

Can we do $700 CAD shipped then, since my dollar is very close to yours now ?
Definitely can't wait to see the pics again, they looked great on the car.
As for the other parts, unfortunately a passenger side door panel wouldn't work on my car sinceI have a RHD car. I am looking for a CF hood though, but with some venting since I'm running a large V-mount setup.

Thanks for the PM back, looking forward to the next reply

Mike, Ill see what the exchange rate is.

I emailed you two photos, High beams and Low beams.

Its tough to tell the difference in the photo, but they shine very nice. If you put hyper white or HID bulbs in the low beam it would be incredible. I never changed it because I was very happy with their projection.

Let me know as soon as you can with your decision on the price, and I can send out the cash to you anytime through paypal I presume? If you want to send me your paypal address as well, that would be great.

Thanks

Mike, I can do 680 USD shipped. This includes the 3% paypal fee. It will cost me 20 bucks to ship. So, you get the lights for 660 plus the shipping cost.

So, 680 USD shipped.

My paypal address is TyperLee@aol.com

Sorry for the 3rd PM in such a short amount of time.
Just wanted to let you know, the money has been sent, and is just waiting for you to claim it.
It shows on Paypal that my shipping address is "unconfirmed" but that is just because I recently added it to paypal. The paypal shipping address is the same one as I sent to you in an earlier PM

Talk to you soon

I definitely will! It will probably be in the spring that the pics will happen. The exterior of my FD is getting a complete overhaul (again). My plated 99 spec bumper, and wing have come so far. The lights will be a nice addition, then the last thing is a vented CF hood.
I have too many go fast goodies, and not enough to make it look just as good.

Well that is really good to know. I figured there would be something like that. I'm not really mechanically inclined, but I will definitely be passing that information over to my builder. Can't wait to see these lights. I wanted to get rid of the flip-ups the day I bought the FD 3 years ago

Non of the JDM lights come with pig tails, you have to hardwire them. Its very simple, just match up the colors. =)

Hey Mike,

I denied the payment, paypal charged me 29 bucks to convert the money over, and THEN when it was converted it ended up being 629. So I sent you a money request for 680 us, this way paypal doesnt stick their hand in my pocket. lol

Email me as soon as you get the request and send the money, the lights are being shipped tomorrow

Hey Lee,

Just wanted to let you know that I resent the money. This time it was $680 USD.
I hope everything works out this time.
The shipping address is still:
xxxxx

I don't know how it all works when you deny a payment. I hope paypal puts it right back in my account...

Your money is safe, paypal never removed the money, they put a hold on it. At most the hold will remain for 24hrs after I denied payment.

My cell number is 603-321-8862

Thanks Mike

The lights arrived damaged on Nov 19th. I contacted Lee and sent him pics. He claimed they were perfect when he shipped them. If they were perfect, wouldnt the large missing piece of plastic be in the shipping box? It wasnt.

pics

After I sent the pics he was still saying it was a shipping problem and he would get it worked out, and if they would work it out then he would buy me both covers since they were both messed up. I said all I wanted was the one cover that was actually missing a piece to be replaced.

(Sorry for not having written proof)
After a couple weeks go by Lee said he was going to order the part, but it was on back order but it should arrive 1 week after xmas. We left it at that. So I waited until after xmas.

Since I didn't hear anything, I sent him a text on the number he gave me 603-321-8862

Jan 14,2010 7:37:08AM Mike
What is the contact number for c-west that you have been using so I can find out for myself to see what the hold up is
Jan 14,2010 12:47:18PM Mike
Did you get my text this morning Lee? Wondering what the contact number is that you've been using to get a hold of cwest
Jan 14,2010 12:46:52 PM Lee
I have been using my rotary guy to find the part
Jan 14,2010 12:48:05PM Lee
I'll call you in a sec
I never heard from him so I sent him a couple PM's of places where he can get a cover faster.

Cwest covers
Hey Lee,

Here is the link to the replacement covers ad on rx7 club.
https://www.rx7club.com/vendor-classifieds-276/cw-headlight-conversion%3B-thicker-covers-847691/

The contact name and number for the guy are in his sig. It's best to call him or email him direct, he doesn't seem to go on rx7 club tooo often.

I'm going to text your right now letting you know that i sent you this PM.

Thanks

another replacement cover link
https://www.rx7club.com/chaser-aero-279/re-cw-headlights-clearance-882342/

The above link is another link to the same vendor, Chaser Aero. It has the replacement covers for sale on that page.

Take care,
Mike
Didn't hear from Lee so I sent him a text the next evening.

Jan 15,2010 5:56:48PM Mike
Hey I sent you a PM last night with the information to chaser aero for the replacement covers. Did you get a chance to check it out at all?
Jan 15,2010 5:59:37 PM Lee
I sent them a PM
I guess I trust people too easily, because I knew that you can not PM Chaser aero, you can only email them to get in contact with them. But I still left it like that.

I waited a few days and didn't hear back so I sent Lee a text

Jan 18,2010 7:26:09PM Mike
So whats the word? Have you heard back? They were pretty quick responding to me when I was talking to them
Never got a text back that day

Jan 19 2010 2:06:53:PM Mike
Hey Lee did you get my text last night?
Jan 19 2010 2:08:33 PM Lee
Sorry man, I've been in the hospital
I'm not going to bother posting the rest of the texts from Jan 19 because they were all talking about how much of a dare devil he is, and that he was in the hospital because he got injured at karate, blah blah blah.
This is the only one I will post.

Jan 19,2010 3:08:31PM Lee
I make 120k a year and it doesn't mean **** if you forget how to live
I only posted that one just because he claims how much he makes.

I waited a few more days (all I do is wait)

Jan 24,2010 7:24:26AM Mike
Hey Lee, it's almost February its been about 2 months since I bought the lights from you, whats the word on the covers now?
Jan 24,2010 7:25:05AM Mike
I know that the chaser aero place has them and they are about 225 for the covers
Jan 24,2010 10:56:28AM Mike
Did you get my text this morning?
Heard nothing back, so I sent him a PM showing how irritated I was. I sent it to his email typerlee@aol.com, his pm box, and his PS3 id (Ironmanlee)

Lee,

I have been trying to contact you, via text and phone, but it seems like I am being avoided.
I would like this deal with the covers rectified please. You can either send me the $225USD to get the covers through Chaser Aero, or you can buy them and send them to me. It's getting quite frustrating this lack of communication when I feel I got quite screwed in this transaction. I will be giving you a very negative score towards your itrader if this doesn't get sorted out.
contact me asap

Mike
Also a text

Jan 26,2010 9:48:33AM Mike
Lee, contact me bac. I've tried contacting you for a few days now. I want to know whats going on with the covers asap
He didn't like my email

Jan 26,2010 6:00:50PM Lee
Mike I have a lot going on in my life without being threatened. I don't owe you a thing, I'm doing this to be fair. But if you'd rather leave feedback rather then get a cover, then by all means
Jan 26,2010 6:03:07PM Mike
I just tried calling you, my intentions were not to threaten you, so I apologize that it came off that way. I said I will be leaving negative feeback if this does not get sorted out. I do want the cover and I know we see things differently since you feel u don't owe anything but I feel like i got screwed since I paid 700 for a broken setup. I just want everything rectified lee.
Jan 26,2010 6:05:33PM Mike
Like I said I apologize for coming off the wrong way, but I figured the options I gave were reasonable about either paying me to get the light covers or you buying them and sending them out
Jan 26,2010 6:08:47PM Mike
Could you please call me back. Guaranteed we both have a lot going on and this is just a hassle, but if you could call so we can sort this out then it will all be done with
Jan 26,2010 6:41:54PM Lee
I'm not dodging you, gimme a few
Jan 26,2010 6:43:02PM Lee
I got a price of 170 for a light lid
Jan 26,2010 7:18:30PM Mike
Thats a really good price. Are you able to order it man
Finally some light at the end of the tunnel......NOPE!

Jan 26,2010 8:10:58PM Lee
Thats the backordered one
Jan 26,2010 8:12:06 PM Mike
Ohhh. Did you ever find out what the status of that was. Like how soon it would be available?
Jan 26,2010 8:12:40PM Mike
the price of 225 from chaser was for a pair though
Never got a text back that night or a phone call.
Sooooo I waited

Feb 3,2010 9:23:26AM Mike
Hi lee, any progress on the order or the light covers in general? Any word back would be great, thanks!
Feb 3,2010 12:20:35PM Lee
Mike I put a call in at 11am. Just waiting for a call back
Feb 3,2010 12:35:48PM Mike
Thank you very much, look forward to hearing back from you today
didn't hear back.

Feb 5,2010 9:17:51AM Mike
Hi lee, did you by any chance get a call back since the other day?
Feb 5,2010 4:04:40 PM Lee
No.I'm in California right now. I have my rotary guy working on getting one.
Feb 5,2010 4:06:47PM Mike
Oh,ok. Is there any indication as to when at all?
Feb 5,2010 4:07:06PM Lee
I'll call him when I get a chance. I'll txt or call you tomorrow
Feb 5,2010 4:08:40PM Mike
That would be much appreciated. My phone is on all the time, so call whenever you can, thanks
What a suprise, I never hear back again!!

Feb 16,2010 2:50:32PM Mike
Hey lee did you hear about the covers at all? You said you were going to call or text me when you talked to someone
Feb 16,2010 2:51:52PM Lee
You know hwat I just got back from California. Hold on one sec
He actually called me and he told me that the cover should be at his place when he arrives home and he would call.

Didn't get a call back soooo

Feb 16,2010 4:22:41 PM Mike
Hey bud, so did the shipping get F'ed up?
Feb 16,2010 4:21:32PM Lee
Yep.I'm waiting to hear where it is right now.
He didn't call. I am very patient apparently.

Feb 24,2010 7:38:51AM Mike
Hey lee, so what's the word on the cover? Last we talked you said you were going to call or text me in a few minutes
Mar 1,2010 11:58:41AM Mike
Hey lee, gimme a shout when you can
Mar 1,2010 11:59:42AM Lee

So I gave him a couple days

Mar 5,2010 8:51:28AM Mike

Mar 8,2010 12:30:02 PM Mike
Hey lee, can you call me today please
More BS!

Mar 8,2010 3:03:43PM Lee
Mike. My wife took 45k from my savings. I'm sorry but i am at a stand still right now. I promise you that you'll get your light cover. I just have more important things on my plate at the moment. The light cover shipped 3 weeks ago from Cali apprently. When I get it i'll send it to you.
Mar 8,2010 3:05:30PM Mike
Thanks lee, did they give you any tracking info?
No response again! So I FINALLY decided to call around to places

Mar 9,2010 3:37:33PM Mike
Hey lee, I called cwest down in cali, and they said the light covers are 120 bucks, so I hope you didn't over pay
Mar 10,2010 12:39:13PM Lee
I can cancel my order and paypal you 120 if you want. My luck is **** lately
Mar 10,2010 12:40:30PM Mike
No no, don't do that, they are super hard to get a hold of. I will keep you posted though. If I can get through again, then for sure you can cancel and send me 120usd.
I called cwest again, and got the price of the cover shipped to me...they are not backordered either...weird.

Mar 10,2010 4:17:21PM Mike
Hey lee, so I just got confirmation. the cover will be 120usd plus 35usd for shipping. Would you be able to paypal me the amount of 155usd and cancel your order and we'll call it even
Then I can stop pestering you!
Mar 10,2010 4:18:45PM Lee
Sure thing
Mar 10,2010 4:20:21PM Mike
Thank you very much lee. Should I be expecting the paypal today? As soon as I receive it from you I'm ordering the piece
Mar 10,2010 4:22:01PM Lee
Ya tonight. Again I got the wife thing going on so I gotta make sure I still have a bank account
Mar 10,2010 4:23:08PM Mike
Yes I understand. I just figured it was do-able since i'm not asking a lot
No paypal transfer went on. I don't know why I expected it to happen.

Mar 11,2010 2:26:03PM Mike
Hi lee, could you please give me a shout when you get the chance today, thanks
For the next week I kept sending the same text every other day, but never heard back.

Mar 16,2010 4:22:42PM Mike
Lee, please call me, I want to know whats going on with the light cover cash. Its been a week since I have heard anything from you.
Still didn't hear from him, so I sent a text this monday
Mar 22,2010 8:40:45AM Mike
Have not heard from you since march 10th. This is ridiculous. If your not paying me the money tell me
Finally got a text back. But what a joke it was.

Mar 22,2010 9:05:11AM Lee
This is lees mom Maria. He had a heart attack from a pre existing condition last week. He asked me to tell you that when he is released from the hospital he will send you 155usd? He apologizes
I sent one final one back saying that it's been 5 months hope to see it soon.

I posted this today because I've just had enough. I'm not hurting for cash, but it's the fact of the matter. To screw someone over like 150-200 bucks worth of merchandise is a joke. Then to say your mom is the one texting me? BULLSHIT!!
I don't know about the rest of you guys on here, but my mom sure as hell doesn't know how to text a full paragraph, and to say that he apparently told his mom that he would send me the money when he got released I find is ridiculous as well. What was it? His wish on his death bed for his mom to tell me. I know I wouldn't be concerned about telling someone about a measly 155 bucks if I was in critical condition.

So after typing all this which has taken up so much of my time today, the coles notes of it is, don't ever by from this seller Typerlee. He is a full out scammer and a clown for making up so much bullshit over the past 5 months.

Thanks for reading
Mike

Wow, it never ceases to amaze me what someone will do (or not do) for $150. Where has all the honesty and integrity gone?

man I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. Try to look in the bright side it's only 150 USD and now you have learned a very vauable lesson that can save you a lot more money in the future.

1) Always use a credit card through paypal.

There is a reason why paypal always pushes for the buyer to use his bank account rather than a CC. If you think it, about why would they care? all they do is transfer the money from one account to the other. So what business is it of theirs where the funds come from as long as they are legitimate... Paypal arbitrates, and if the decision is found to be in your favor they claim to get you your money back. Except that if the seller haz zero $$ on his bank account then paypal doesn't do **** for you. Your bank can't do anything either.

I love using my CC through paypal as its a great safety net. Your CC company all simply cares is that its customer (you) got what he paid for. They don't argue with the seller about how it broke in transit, nor do they call up the shipping company (as most sellers tell us to do). Nope it's all black and white to them, if they see that you didn't get what you paid for (and you actually tried to work the issue out before calling them up) you get your money back. They just pull from where it was deposited into and in this case it's paypal's account.

If there is an issue first try and resolve it through the seller. If you don't get anywhere then go through paypal, last and the most effective way is to complain to your CC company. Now If you do have a legitimate complaint and didn't take too long to file a claim: the CC company will yank the funds back from paypal and into your CC card. Bam! that's it, the money issue becomes paypal's (since the money was taken from their account) and the seller's problem now. Because of course paypal will want it's money back from the seller. Paypal has a team of lawyers that deal with this issue on a daily basis, so if the seller doesn't return the money it gets treated as an unpaid debt. Sure enough his/her credit will be ruined if it goes unpaid as it will eventually go to collections. But all of this costs paypal money so they rather have you take the hit and have you transfer money from your bank account rather than a CC.

2) Don't wait forever to file a complaint. I'd say give them a couple of weeks at most. Time is your enemy when it comes to online transactions.

A while back I bought an item from a fellow forum member. It had been a couple of weeks and item had not arrived from the time he said he sent it. I specifically asked for a tracking number and he never gave me one. I started to smell trouble so I contacted him with my concerns and he claimed to be not responsible since he already had shipped the item and to contact them.... nice, seemed rather comfortable with himself... My response was hey I don't have a tracking number to complain about to the shipping company, plus I didn't pay for the shipping so I don't have a receipt and I didn't choose to hire that particular company so I fail to see how this becomes my responsibily and not yours. His reply was rather unsympathetic and like I said he believed that his part was over. So to get his butt in gear I proceeded to tell him that I paid with a CC card and ultimately I would call them up and simply get my money back. I don't think he believed me. To get the ball rolling I called paypal, sure enough funds were no longer in his account. Next I called my CC company and explained the whole situation, sent them emails showing proof of transaction, and the CC company agreed I should get my money back and were going to pull funds. Given that ruling I decided to wait one more week just in case. Sure enough it arrived a few days later. So I called up the CC company and told them the item had arrived. I also contacted the seller and told him the item had arrived and that next time please provide a tracking number because I had already contacted my CC and they were about to pull the funds back. Communication is key.

What I gather was that the guy was not a scammer he's just a procrastinator. I was curious so I checked up on when the item was actually shipped. Just as I suspected a week after he originally said he was gonna do it. That's why he didn't want to give me a tracking number I believe. That's huge pet peeve of mine. From where I stand I expect my item to be shipped within 24 hrs (48 max) of accepting payment, if the seller isn't ready to send my item then they should not click on the accept payment icon. It's that simple and I think most would agree on that school of thought.

I completely agree with everything you said and yes like I said in my last paragraph, at least it was only a minimal amount that I'm not hurting over. Whether he is a scammer or just a procrastinator, I don't think I will ever know for certain, unless I get another text from his "mom".
I've never had a problem with any member on here using paypal. I guess I just waited a long time because I'm too nice and I really do like giving people the benefit of the doubt. I will be more cautious from now on, and thanks for all the info about how paypal works.

I'm sorry to see this bs with TypeRlee/Lee Dutton. I had a bad dealing with him regarding the claimed "93-95 R1" rear spoiler he was selling. He's been a member for years now and tried to pawn his 96+ JDM whale tail spoiler off as the one I was looking for. He hadn't shipped my wing out after sitting on my $$ for 2 weeks so I started pestering him. He made up some bs excuses and finally took a picture of the wing because I didn't believe it existed. When I saw it was the wrong wing, I was a little more than pissed off. So, I asked nicely for my money back via Paypal (I didn't use my credit card unfortunately) and he refused (nice guy). I then told him I was filing a complaint with Paypal if he didn't reimburse me. He then threatened that I would only get the nominal account balance he had in Paypal if I did this. A bunch of angry/threatening emails later and he actually refunded the money.

Remember, when buying a part from someone, don't take their word about the condition or even the actual product, you MUST GET A PICTURE! I also realized that PayPal isn't my best friend, they can only minimally assist you if there is a problem. Montego has some additional hints that should help as well.

Again, I'm sorry this happened to you. I agree, it's definitely more about the situation than the money. If he resurfaces, DO NOT deal with TypeRlee!!

I agree, I will be watching to see if he comes back. How long ago was it that you were dealing with him about the wing? Because when I was dealing with him back in Oct/Nov he was trying to sell me other parts as well and he claimed the spoiler was the 96+.

I'm really not a fan of bad talking people especially if it can ruin there rep. However, I know I waited to long to speak up, and from this experience I won't wait that long again.

Same BS from this douche^^. He said the same things-- everything from "I shipped out the part, but didn't realize FedEx has a signature policy so the part came back twice". Try asking for a tracking # and see if he responds...nope. I called him out on not shipping the part and he admitted that he never did.

There aren't many FD owners on here from New Hampshire, so he'll never sell another part on here as long as I'm around even if he gets a new username.

Stay on him and be a pita, that's how I got him to finally give in. Keep calling/texting/emailing/etc, he won't change his phone number.

I know Lee personally and have dealt with him multiple times, quite a few in person. He is a very nice and a very reasonable guy and Ive always been extremely happy with our transactions. Lee usually goes above and beyond what most would do and that says alot. I wouldnt hesitate to buy anything from him.. Its unfortunate that your headlights were damaged in shipping, but I wouldnt be pointing the finger at Lee because of that.. I buy and ship things constantly and the reality is that a honest 5-10% of the items I ship or buy end up getting damaged by the shipping carrier(usually DHL or USPS and occasionally UPS).. Since this was shipped into Canada the odds of shipping damage are even greater.. Im dealing right now with having been shipped a Alpine Car Dvd player and multimedia center that I received D.O.A. and the box didnt even look damaged!! Now I am stuck paying shipping to return the item, which I will not be reimbursed and I loose out on the shipping I paid to receive it... so I understand your frustrations. While I agree that waiting months for your cover is a pain and I sympathize, I also know that shipping companies dont respond to insurance claims favorably most of the time and shipping insurance is a joke... so someone ends up getting shafted... How would you feel if you shipped someone something in great condition only to find out it was damaged when it got there and the buyer is looking at you to dip into your pockets to pay for it... Would you even pay for it? Most of the time the sellers wont and you cant really blame them... The fact that Lee offered to help you out and pay for new covers shows his character.... So what if hes trying to minimize how much money he loses by trying to find a good deal on the covers... I dont think alot of people would even waste their time with it... If it was such a big deal you could have easily filed a claim with paypal and let them decide your case. Now, since you didnt, you really dont have any legal leg to stand on... sad but true... and Lee really doesnt have to send you anything. I think the fact that Lee is still talking to you and trying to make it right despite all the drama thats going on in his life shows that he is a good guy...

As for RiceHata, you sound like a bitter old woman....You got your money back and you are still bitching...lol Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned huh??? Not only are you still bitter, but you also go out of your way to try and trash on Lee?? Can we say vengeful much? Maybe you need to stop "hating" and go see a womans support group...

^Really? You can't be serious can you? It is Lee's responsibility to get the product to the buyer in the condition he describes, not the buyer's fault. Lee should immediately make this right and then deal with the shipping claim himself as it is his responsibility. I shipped an alternator to a forum member a few years ago and it arrived broken. Did I hang out the buyer with shipping claim excuses? No, I immediately refunded him his money and I dealt with the claim and got my money back several months later. But I didn't string the buyer out for that time as it just isn't his problem.

And doesn't it seem strange to you that the missing chunk of headlight cover was not in the package? And finally, this has been going on since October, over 5 months. Lee promises to make it right and here we are, over 5 months later, waiting on him.

Lee offered to "help him out"? No, what he did was promise to fix something that is his responsibility. Period. End of story. And your comment about him not having "a legal leg to stand on" really pisses me off. When has it become okay not to do the right thing, regardless of whether there is a legal obligation or not? Frankly I believe you are wrong on this and that he could sue and win but that is another point.

Let's see how much of a standup guy Lee is and see if he pays this guy back and makes this right. I am sorry for Lee's alleged difficulties, but frankly, that's not the buyer's fault. He was healthy enough to take this guy's money but he can't now send the guy $150?

Stuff like just pisses me off. Stop making excuses Lee and pay this guy back. Move on with life. Period.

I wish I didn't have to waste my time to dignify your post with a response 1FastFD3s, but by defending Lee, you're worse than him. Bottom line, the guy is a scammer and you look ridiculous by taking his side. If Lee is your buddy (or you are another one of Lee's usernames), then be a sport and help out the OP. If aren't going to be helpful, don't post here.

I've been watching his profile lately to see if he comes on. Last I saw was on the 8th of this month. That day he posted in the "wheels and tires" section saying he wants to buy 18" rims, so I posted the link to this thread in his WTB ad.
I highly doubt he will ever respond to me. I have sent so many texts to the guy, left voicemails, and have emailed and pm'd him. He is just a waste of space on here and doesn't deserve the privelege to take part in this forum.

Thank you for wanting to take actions against his account.

Well... One, Im not a scammer. I sent the lights, as pictured, in 100% working order. Two- Rice Hata.. I was new to RX7's when I was selling the wing, and had no idea it was the wrong one. I actually bought it from "Panda Garage" as a JDM R1 wing, so my apologies, and ill gladly pay for your trip to New England if you wanna play that game.

Mike Legere- Can you prove to me you didnt break these on your own? I had them insured, I took pics of the condition and somehow I owe YOU money. How do I know your not scamming me? This is ludacris.. Just proves how sad some peoples lives are.. You form a posse on a website to "Ban" me. Moderator, I have contacted you. Also Mike, I havent heard from you Since January when I was going through my divorce in hospitilized for a pre-existing heart condition. Sorry that issue got in the way of you screwing me.

Lol, you really are a clown lee. Yes I'm definitely scamming you because you sent fucked up lights? Lol seriously? Are you mental?. As for pics, take a look at the ones you sent me. There are no closeups showing the pics of scratches and missing pieces. As for not hearing from me since january, I kept all the texts we had back and forth and as you can see in my first post it had texts from feb and march as well. Keep singing your tune that your not a scammer. Ill post in any forsale or wtb ad you ever make informing everyone how you screwed me, and didn't owe up to it.
As for the text you sent me earlier saying your going to pay me, ill believe it when I see it, and ill make sure to post on here saying you sent me money if in fact that day comes

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A SELLER TO TAKE CARE OF ITEMS THAT ARRIVE DAMAGED!! IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A SELLER TO TAKE CARE OF ITEMS THAT ARRIVE DAMAGED!! ONE MORE TIME: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A SELLER TO TAKE CARE OF ITEMS THAT ARRIVE DAMAGED!!

It is not up to the buyer to "prove" he didn't screw up the lenses. He promptly notified you and took pics of the damage and also points out the piece of the lens that you claim was damaged in transit/or by him was NOT IN THE BOX. Sucks, but that is the way it is in business Lee. You must file the claim with UPS (probably too late now) and you should have promptly refunded enough money to cover the lens which by the way is $120 plus shipping. How do I know? I just ordered one two weeks ago for my mechanic. He needed one for a customer's car that came in with the headlight lens cracked but the customer claimed the mechanic did it. What did the mechanic do? He bit the bullet and bought the customer a new lens. No fuss, no saying prove it, just the right thing.

Sorry Lee you are clearly wrong here - period. He didn't receive what was promised and it doesn't matter when it happened. Man up and do the right thing and buy him a new lens. PM me if you want to know where to get these and yes, Chaser has been on back order for months and still is. They are however, available elsewhere.

Until you take care of your business, you are a scammer in my book.

^thanks for posting that
As for the covers, I have already bought replacements from chaser about a month ago. 5 months of waiting for a cover is ridiculous so I took it into my own hands. I bought both covers and have only asked to be reimbursed for one, even though both covers were scratched to ****.
As said in an earlier post by me, lee texted me earlier today saying he will be sending me the money today, but only time will tell.

I had to get a new bank account from my divorce. Awaiting paypal confirmation as I type this. I really could care less what the internet public feels is true or not, since I am the only one who has walked in my shoes since december.

Mike, Im sorry you feel scammed. I will make it right, like I promised. I had a heart attack, and got divorced all in a few months. Things dont always go as planned. My apologies all around.

Btw.. 1fastfd3 isnt me.. And thank you for defending me. **** happens. Rice, your a tool. Shut up already. It was hardly a month long thing with you and I, you paid, I sent a pic, and I refunded your money two days later.
I love how fast people on the internet jump on the hate bandwagon when it is NONE of their business.

Those of you that are participating in this matter in a semi adult fashion, I understand why you feel the way you do, and it is going to be resolved today. The End.

The money has been received. I appreciate that the matter has finally been resolved. Like I said in the texts back and forth over the past 20 minutes with you Lee, I know something like this won't happen again, and it's unfortunate things turned out the way they did.
The issue is resolved, and Lee has come good on the agreement we made in 09.

Mar3 - I'm sending you a PM now, but if you see this before hand, the issue has been resolved, and Lee's account has no more need of being banned.

Thanks
Mike
