beware and DO NOt sale to fidelity101

This fidelity101 pretended to buy two S5 rotors from me and then turned around and tried to say one was damaged. placed a hold on my Paypal. I sent the guy a replacement rotor even though I knew he was lying about the rotor. the motor had no loose parts and was intact when I took it apart. he claims it was a corner seal that hit the rotor surface.

I send the guy a replacement and he then proceeds to claim its S5 turbo or FD and that he is well versed on rotors. I tell him only only have S5 N/A rotors and he doesnt know what he is talking about. Paypal grants him his money back because they dont want a chargeback.

stay away from this loonybird because he is mental. im waiting to get my rotors back and have pictures to match them. if they arent the same I will file a claim with paypal to get my funds for my items.

Rich,

Looks like this was the FS thread....no details in it aside from the rotors being listed and then sold. The buyer never posted in the thread.....

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...1031750/page3/

OP, does this mean that he has the money and the rotors? Did he ever send you a rotor back or does he have three rotors now?

Here is my side of the story:

we discussed over email regarding purchasing the S5 NA rotors. It took a while to get worthwhile photos and still even answers to simple questions of "what was wrong with this motor?" and "why was it taken apart?" Never was answered. I simply got the response of "I part engines out" thats all. All in all poor communication across the board, speedy responses but poor effective communication.

SO I get the rotors, one is A weight and one is B weight, both S5 NA rotors. no problem they were packed well and no shipping damage was done.

upon removal of the carbon build up there was this found:

You agreed that this was the B weight rotor you shipped me, I took this up with paypal as a dispute due to the damage. You are assumign that I am lying but you didnt even take the few minutes to clean the rotor and look for yourself, it looks like the engine ate a nut or a corner seal. You did not dispute that the rotor in question was the one you sent me and now you are saying that you knew I was lying? that doesn't make sense. I wasn't going to rely on your word that you would ship me a repalcement. As we discussed I agreed that I would return you damage rotor and release the paypal claim once the replacement S5 NA rotor arrived and I cleaned and inspected it. (this wasy 5-11-13)

The rotor shipped out Monday

I recieved it yesterday.

I am home from work for less than a half hour and I am opening the package and inspecting the rotor and I get a call from paypal with you conferencing in screaming "WHERES MY MONEY, QUIT PLAYING GAMES" you were swearing and billergent and you would yell into the phone while I was trying to speak and while the paypal representative was trying to speak.

This went on for about a half hour, eventually paypal reminded him that the conversation was recorded and decided that this dispute would be best resolved if it was canceled. I return all 3 rotors and paypal refunds the money. I do not wish to do business with him or the company he apparently has (This was unknown to me until I recieved the original package) of rx7hut.com

YOU have the nerve to say that I don't know what I am looking at? and that I do not know anything about rotarys? This statement could not be any more false. You also clearly don't know how to operate a business properly because you yell and scream at your customers. Not very business like, I didn't even have a full hour after I recieved the package before you end up calling me with additude.

this discussion is over I am sending you your 3 rotors back and they are refunding my money, I do not wish to give my money to a business that acts so childish anyways, might I remind everyone of this:
https://www.rx7club.com/bad-fugly-bu...-story-954467/

unfortionately I saw this thread after I gave him money for the rotors, had I seen it I would not have done business with him.

Here are the rotors in question: the s5 NA is the damaged one in the photos (obviously) and the other one looks to be S5 turbo or S6. The tubs are different shapes/depths which as I stated depict compression ratio which lets you know what engine it was from.

Even the replacement one you send me has 2 small knicks on the edge, as if another rotor was dropped on it.

CLIFF NOTES:
bought rotors
one came in damaged
he offered to replace the bad S5 NA engine rotor with an S5 NA engine rotor of A or B weight
I get the rotor in, and it does not appear to be an S5 NA rotor
WITHIN MINUTES of me home opening the package, paypal calls
we dispute this issue
paypal decides to cancel the transaction, they refund my money and I ship him back all 3 rotors
I agree to this

and here we are today.

What I learned from this thread:

Fidelity appears to be able to back up his side.

S5 rotors have machined tubs

Don't deal with rx7hut.

Thanks!

S5 NA, S5 turbo and S6 rotors are machined tubs. S4 are all cast. The tub shape/depth depicts whether or not its NA or turbo rotor. I cannot trust these rotors because they are too different. If I'm mistaken, I'm mistaken - people make mistakes but I do not wish to do business with an individual who yells at his customers, hastily makes assumptions, has poor communication and business skills. I cannot trust these parts in my engine build.

I am not going to sit here and bicker back and forth, I'm returning your parts and paypal is returning me money money and then they will lift the hold on your account.

I've had nothing but good dealings with Fidelity.

The evidence is pretty clear in this case as well.

Fidelity101

First, I do not think amxone tried to pull a fast one here. In good faith, he sent a set of rotors and one had some hidden damage under some carbon. He could not have been expected to know this beforehand. He was selling you used parts (assumed to be uncleaned) and this happens sometimes.

Second, and most importantly -It is kind of chickenshit to run off and file a paypal dispute so hastily. Amxone is trying to run a business and when you filed that dispute, it effectively put his business on hold. Think about that. I'd be pissed and motherfuck you too! Just sayin.

Anyhoo, it is agreed that the replacement rotor is not a suitable match because of the compression. If you were to reject it only on the basis of the nicks that I see in the pictures, I would tell you tough **** and that you are a picky bastard - or refund your money after you paid return shipping.

But again, you pulled a dick move here and filed with paypay the very first thing and had him by the *****! Amxone had no choice but to deal with your tactics. You sir in this case are coming off as a Pain in the *** Buyer.

Ok I just saw this and want to dispell the myth here. I first ran into this person asking to buy S5 rotors. He started off wrong by saying he buys S5 for 200 dollars. I told him let me know where you do so I can buy them. That alone should have been a red flag. He then a few days later low ***** me but I took the offer for 245 because I had 3 sets of S5 rotors. Mind you that I only have S5 rotors. I sent pictures to him and he wanted a couple. It didn't take a while. I don't usually waste time with low ballets and the comment on how much he gets S5 rotors turned me off because he was trying to play me for stupid. S5 run a minimum of 300 and if really clean even more. The proceeds to make demands after he lowball a me and priority mail, insurance and etc. if you paid my price I don't mind but in this case it started off wrong. Information on the motor the rotors came out of. It was a 90 convertible that was intact. All the pieces were there and his claim of a corner seal was ridiculous. He sent the picture of a damaged rotor and first thing came to mind was this guy is scamming. I told him about the motor and that I took it apart myself. That shocked him and he wanted to know how I knew and I told him I sell components so I should know what I take out. He opens a case even before he even consulted with me and soon after we had that conversation. I tell him immediately that I will replace the rotor. He took a while to respond so I'm thinking again, scammer looking to score his money after switching items. I sent the rotor to him and took pictures and cleaned it. The rotor gets there because I checked tracking. I call PayPal because I don't trust him and to this point he's shady. PayPal calls him. I get confirmation of the scam right off the bat. He starts off after I ask if he got the rotor with, yes I got it but I think this is S5 turbo or an FD rotor. I tell him I only have S5 rotors and he is mistaken. He repeats, noooo this is turbo the grooves are deeper. I said sir you got the rotor to replace the damaged one you claimed and I want my funds released. He says I'm not going to release the funds. I told him you don't know what you're looking at and I want my money. He then LISTEN CLOSELY, says I haven't even opened the package because I just got home. This put me over the edge. I told him you are a liar! You just sat on the phone denying its an. S5 rotor and you haven't even opened the box. He says I have to compare them to make sure. I say to the PayPal guy, did you just here him tell the lie? He hasn't opened the box but he's making claims. I told him he was a fraud and I wanted my money. I'm sorry you lose all respect when you lie and flip flop while holding my funds on a bogus claim. I told him that the pictures he sent weren't of my rotor. I know what I sent and he could keep his story straight. He wants to drag other issues like rx7hut into the discussion. This wasn't even affiliated with rx7hut so once again he is drowning and scrambling for anything to say. Bad guy and bad transaction. Stay away from that loser!!!

I also just saw his reference to Tripoint. Now he is really desperate. This is what I'm talking about. This guy is bad news and a real pain in the backside. He can't defend his acts so let recklessly say anything. Once again stay away from the infidel known as fidelity101

OK, this discussion is finished.

Buyer, please notify me of your plan to return all three rotors to seller.

Seller, please notify me when you receive the rotors back.

Nothing else needs to be said by anyone until that time. except for the matter of you selling as a business. I notice that you have already had threads deleted because you are exceeding the allowed number of selling threads per month. Perhaps it is time for you to consider becoming a vendor on this forum?
