Despite all the failure you've accomplished, try to redeem yourself by having just a little decency by removing his phone number off of the internet. At least have some respect for the man's privacy. Let me know if you have questions regarding being decent. Have a nice day.
That wasn't necessary.. but he should not have signed for a incomplete package..

Thanks for posting up my number John I had my cell phone cancelled last week.

If you have nothing to do, dont post/crap this thread, it doesnt concern you. im just trying to get my claim and im not getting any response at all from the seller for 2 weeks. and who the **** uses someone else's PAYPAL?! enough said.. again you are an IDIOT who just post his first thread not knowing the situation.
I did package the wheels properly John. Like I told you on the phone...

It is a part of my job to package wheels properly.. it's rare but from time to time a wheel gets lost in the shipping process.

I strapped the front wheels together face to face (pair front with fronts rear with rears) with cardboard in between them and on the outside of the wheels.. 7 straps across every direction and one through the center then I wrap them with shrink wrap..

It says it was signed off by John Bustos, and that's you, correct? Just a thought. I bet you're going to say its once again UPS' fault but whatever, hope you find that last wheel.

i dont know why he would use his boss' paypal but im sure he wasn't intending on getting a dispute shoved up his boss' ***.
I used my friends paypal not my bosses don't make assumptions. My boss is dealing with the UPS claims because I shipped it out through my work.

Andrew isn't my employee. We're not running a business here. He's just one of my friends who doesn't have his own paypal account.

seller's friend can communicate with me but im not getting any answer from him. Send me the claim ASAP through my paypal when you recieve it.
Mike is my friend whose paypal account I used to recieve the money..

John I can't do anything about this until I receive that claim form from ups.. I haven't received anything therefor you have not received money for the missing wheel.

Once again i'm sorry for all this.

WOW finally after 3 weeks of no reply you started to show up. All i needed was information from you about the claim from the UPS , as i spoke to the damage group, you will need to inform / update me on what is going on 3 weeks ago. you got my cell, home and email ad so just update me through there and PLEASE dont dissapear again... Im not here to ruin your name but you did actually ignored my emails ,calls for a very long time and put yourself on my situation youll probably do the same thing.

john

this whole thing can be easily avoided if you just had communicated with me. as you explained how you packaged the wheels, that's how i recieved it... duct tapes with a weak strap and damaged. and if I did recieved the wheels myself that way i surely wouldnt sign it, but i was away when it was delivered.
since you "had" responded here again, please do the right thing which is handling the right / mature way which is keeping me updated on it and that's all i ask, so at least i can get my money back.

john

I've lost a wheel once thanks to UPS. It's pretty gay when you go to the UPS warehouse and they only give you three wheels!

As far as RBMotoring is concerned, I don't trust the majority of the people at that company because of all the shady stuff that went down a few years ago.

I also think that the only thing rotaryexplosion did wrong was not communicate with you. I would've packaged the wheels the same way, unless I had access to big enough boxes.

Edit:

The shady stuff had to do with the import of Skylines and "converting" them to US Spec. Not with their wheels.

Don't worry, that's the first thing that I checked, and you would've banned right away if it was you posting.

I called ups again they said they claim is going through.. but I don't know how much longer this is going to take..

after talking to a friend of mine who works for a shipping company he said it isn't uncommon for ups to take a few months to get the claim to go through..

But I will follow up with UPS to see if there is a way to speed this up.

I know I'm not a part of this mess, but I just wanted to leave some insight with my situation. Like I stated before, I've had the same problem with UPS. It took over 6 months for anything to be resolved and that's mostly because the company I bought the wheels from was saying that it's UPS' fault, and UPS kept telling me that the seller has to be the one who is to keep in contact with UPS to figure something out, not me, the buyer. Basically I was given the run-around by the seller. After a few months, UPS sent them a check and the seller sent me a new wheel to replace the "lost" one. Turns out the lost one got shipped to some random person and luckily for me that person found me by contacting UPS, so I ended up getting the lost wheel back.

Long story short, it took 6 months before the seller got any kind of money from UPS and another 2 months after that to get everything squared away. So the only thing you can really do is just be patient, wait it out, and hope that the seller is keeping good communication with UPS and the buyer.

Good luck fellas!

+1. Communication is the key here. I just need andrew to email me directly on updates with the UPS so at least so i know what is going on with the claim.

I worked part-time for a major shipping company loading and unloading trucks for a bit. It's not uncommon for employees to dismantle goods to "check-out" what the contents are. I wouldn't be surprised if an employee was curious to see what wheels were being shipped.
