Regrettably, after attempts to resolve this matter, I am forced to post about a bad transaction with forum member my99spirit.

In response to my need for an wiring harness for a 79 SA, my99spirit stated he had everything i needed for $75. i made it very clear i needed every bit of wiring in the engine bay and we exchanged several messages prior to completing the sale. i paid through paypal on 4/01 and received two boxes a short time later. the timeliness of this shipment and quality of packaging was quite good.

Upon opening and inspection of the wiring, it was discovered that several parts were not present. The wiring to the starter, the alternator and battery wiring were not in the box. I promptly messaged my99spirit and explained the situation, which he was understanding of and promised if i supplied the mailing address he would send it out. i replied with the information and waited.

Needless to say these missing components did not arrive and I messaged him again. A response did not come and so I posted for an update in his for sale thread. The response I received today in his thread was that he was "tired of sitting on the wiring so I tossed it all out". He also closed the thread to prevent any further discourse on the matter.

I am extremely disappointed and filed a PayPal dispute as it is apparant my99spirit has no interest in resolving this in good faith.

did anything ever happen with this guy...? I bought a pillars off him and have emailed him sense he was banned and have gotten no reply.... and no pillars.

i got my money back in paypal. i lost $34 in the process to ship them bacl despite them being totally wrong / incomplete. i would like my negative iTrader remark he gave me reversed or deleted in light of this.

be warned - this guy will string you along and weave a yarn of BS to you and paypal when the time for resolution arises.

 

I spoke a day too soon. they did come today. all is well.
