I paid for this Item on the Dec 11th 2014 I deposited $4305.90Nzd ($3250Usd) to - 1FAASTFD3S

aka David Eppinger from Long Beach CA, it is Now the 10th of March 2015 I still haven’t received it.

This is the item, listed twice. Once in Race parts only and again in West Sale sections.

The total value was agreed upon and shipping to my destination in New Zealand was agreed and included in the price.




After the payment was made, the seller went quiet, taking weeks to respond at times.
And most importantly could not produce a shipping or tracking number until 12th February 2015

Up until then he claiming the entire time he had sent it to me via email, which later he claimed to find the “tracking email” in his drafts unsent & unknowingly.



Needless to say, the receipt is damaged and is worthless. It doesn’t even include a Date on it? Which would be very helpful. I have asked for the Date in a total of 14 emails. Also asking for a higher resolution Photo.

In-between Dec 11th 2014 and Feb 12th 2015 there had been a lot of contact from my end. Asking for the tracking number and trying to sort this out. I was met with mostly no responses to my emails and when I did there was lengthy & countless excuses including empty promises.

I left no stone unturned, This is $4.3K !!! (coming upto 2 months wages for me, my personal savings). I have done everything I could on my end to track this parcel down, calling and emailing USPS, Calling and Emailing NZ POST, calling and emailing NZ CUSTOMS. All of whom needed some kind of tracking number. As well as all commented that the photo wasn’t good enough and the possibility of being ripped off.
David Eppinger would not even pick up his phone Once to talk to me, I’ve tried to call 3 times.

At one point I was calling NZ customs every week day morning to check if a package was being held up for me.
Currently there are 14 Emails sent to David that haven’t been replied to.



I have no idea why my emails arnt being responded to, 1FAASTFD3S signs into rx7club every single day without fail.

More recently I emailed the La Police dept about my situation and waiting to hear back.

Any advice from fellow forum members would be appreciated.

I may Post up every email sent in order to make this transparent as possible if anyone needs it.

I have had issues with him in the past. Will never deal with him again...Then he says he doesnt have a paypal account. Now an days you should never just wire money or send any forms of payment that dont include paypal especially if your dealing with oconus vise versa...

 

Sent him a PM to come in and address this situation.

His buying/selling privileges are also revoked until this is all sorted out.

 

Here were my efforts on following up and tracking the item with what little details I had and the photo of the damaged receipt.

The email I sent out to USPS , NZ Customs and NZ POST. (this is after calling each of the customer support desks multiple times, weekly following up my requests)

Yeah, this seller is terrible. Goes quiet RIGHT AFTER you send the funds, and will only respond after you resort to threats and taking action in getting your money back. Repeatedly leans on his high trader rating, but I have no idea how legit that is.

 

it's people like this that have ruined Motorsports! Keyboard Racers taking people's hard earned funds. That's alot of money. What a POS.

 

Woa, just got a message from GoodFella telling me about this thread. Luke Im not sure why you havent Pmed or called or even texted me as you could reach me be any of those in addition to email. I have spoke to you on the phone once when you called me and have receieved no calls since. I am busy, but I can be reached. I try to check my messages here as often as I can and you say you see this, but yet you havent pmed me when you say I havent responded to however many emails you claim? Where are all these emails that you say I havent responded to? I respond to every one of your emails & also gave you my other email address as you requested so thered be no doubt I will get it and I have received nothing since my last email to you. The reason it didnt get shipped for a few weeks was because of the holidays, me being out of town & because I did not receive full $3250 as agreed. However after speaking with you on the phone you agreed that Id ship economy & I still shipped it Express Mail Internatinal. Anyway please contact me via phone, text, pm or email and lets try to get this resolved asap.

 

I've had issues with buddy to. But he did do me a favor and held on to the piece for me for a month. So He's good on his word in that sense. But I don't trust anybody, so I contacted PayPal and everything was resolved. But I'm sure if didn't break ***** i would be in the same position.. Other than that Dave a cool guy!!!

 

After doing some digging, I contacted every member that showed interest in the For Sale Thread to see if it had been offered to them.

Only to find User Cone_crushr claims he bought the item off David 1FAASTFD3S in October 2014 and still owns it / has it in his possession.

This tracking # shows a package shipped from Long Beach to New Zealand but the dates are shipped June 4th 2014 received on June 18th.

I have dealt with David before and have not had any bad transactions and have seen him in the bad guy section before but everything I had seen has been resolved. I agree it has been awhile for you to wait for your parts and their is a lack of communication which with this amount of money is going to surely cause a lot of worry. Hang in there a bit while we wait for David to try and figure out where the parts, package, or correct tracking # are.

David, you should be able to get the shipping date from you bank info or cc info and then the post office can track down the transaction once you have the correct date. If you can also determine a rough window for when it was shipped chances are that the post office you shipped out of does not see a very large amount of shipments to NZ so they should be able to track down the tracking # or package for you.

 

PS: I was able to figure out the tracking # by looking at the customs form number below the tracking #. The customs form # was basically the same as the Label #.

call PayPal ASAP and they will put a hold on the money. He did the same thing to me. He will get in contact with you stat!!!

 

David was trying to buy a 20b from me last week, i dont really care if he sounds like a genuine buyer, all the good feedback in the world can't excuse this situation. Hope it gets sorted lukes

 

What a **** show.. I had 3 dry sumps. I sold one to Cone Crusher and sold the other to Luke. Im fairly certain that I mentioned that to you Luke. I said I sold the one I posted but still had one that I may sell, but that I wouldnt sell unless I could get a certain amount for & we settled on the $3250 recieved shipped. And if that tracking # is from that long ago obviously its not Lukes. I found that receipt while looking for Lukes and thought it was his as I rarely ship to New Zealand. Anyone is welcome to come see me. I have nothing to hide. Regardless Luke and I need to sort this out asap. Please call, text or get in contact with me as I am incredibly busy and cant sit here typing on the forum all day. I will do everything I can to get this resolved immediately.

Firstly thankyou Circuit Theory for putting your time in effort into trying to decipher the tracking number for me.
You and Robert from the NZ Post customer service desk have both drawn the conclusion, that the receipt pictured is indeed not my receipt.



Needless to say that alone has had me and the companies I ask to help me running around in circles, it is disappointing. BUT mistakes do happen….

Replying on this forum should require no extra time, the same amount of time is required to sign in and write a email.

Now you are you mistaken when you say you sent me an alternative email when I asked for it.

Please remind me of the email .

And now mostly worryingly you are mistaken when you say we talked on the phone multiple times, in fact we never spoke on the phone once.

Our only contact has been written on rx7 club PM and email and on this forum. As I previously mentioned I called 3 times all with no answer and the 3rd time I left a message to be in contact.

Now you are most welcome to screenshot your call log of me and our call aswell as the duration, time and date, it wouldn’t be hard to find my international number in your log if it indeed happened.


I gave you the benefit of the doubt for 3 months and I do respect your good nature in our communication.

I still do hope to resolve this with the best intentions, However I have started the legal process to protect myself.

Every single option now of resolution lies on your side of the fence.

Luke. Forget trying to reason or get your parts or get resolution on the forums. This is a crime in progress.

Stick with the police. They will come through for you in the end. I had a similar situation years ago and although it took a little while - dude was arrested *by the FBI*. I didn't end up getting all my money back, but justice was served.

This is 100% a scam in progress. Who DOESN'T keep the receipt for a $3000 item in good shape? What if there had to be a warranty claim? Can't do that without the receipt.

Additionally, who takes a photo and cuts out the date intentionally (100% it's intentional) AND tries to disguise the tracking number. If he couldn't read it, you couldn't read it and he knew that. Now that it's determined this indeed was a fake receipt in order to throw you off the track for a bit - there is ZERO proof of this being shipped.

Talk to your bank. Talk to your local police. Talk to the police in Los Angeles. Talk to a private investigator in Los Angeles - they can dig up an immense amount of info on him AND Ms. "Harlow.Karrie@yahoo.com". Suck everyone around him into this. Contact his parents. Contact his wife/fiancees/girlfriends parents. Contact his boss. Contact her boss. Stay on it and stay on message and they will get him.

Don't focus on e-mails responded to or not - you have all the proof you need - focus on transactions and failure to act on his part.

You'll get him in the end.
