thread resurrection... hows the ebay shipping response time?

 

Are you serious? Please search Rotary Shack in the Bad Business/Seller section. The fact that they've been banned from the forum should tell you enough. Seriously, if you order through that business, even via Ebay, you deserve anything that happens...and why would you support a business that seems to have a history of ripping off other owners to begin with?

Just some thoughts to consider.

 

Some people paid Rotary Shack YEARS AGO for work to be done and have never received their work done or their money back. Does that tell you enough? wow.....one guy from this forum actually sued Rotary Shack. He won a stipulated judgment, and now Robert is trying to weasel out of paying over any loophole he can find. NOT the place to send your money.....

 

The methods of RotaryShack have no rhyme or reason. Several years ago I bought an 83' GSL rearend, 12A sidedraft intake manifold, and a OER 45mm carb. I paid for all these together, at the same time. Within a week, I had a shipping pallet at my door with a complete GSL rearend on it... but it took over 8 months of constant phone calls, numerous excuses, and even out right lies before i finally received my carb and manifold... I guess you can consider me a lucky one

 

I wonder if Robert sent you here to try to promote his business in ebay...?

Hi David. Sorry to hear about that convo with Robert.. I passed by to pick up some jettings for the carb I purchased from him on his eBay store yesterday and he was telling another customer that happened to be there at the time about a story that sounds like it was you. Whether you or his story may be true.. apparently he told you first that the item you were asking about is about $150 brand new but he would sell one for $20, then you came back with "How about $15?" after he already made a great offer. If that's the case, I can understand why he blew you off. In regards to who gave you his number.. that person called him and told him he was sorry that he did so, and that you have a reputation for being cheap.

Not saying I believe any of that, just his 2 cents. I've been lucky enough to not experience a "rotary shack horror story".. sucks to hear about others that did. Hope you're able to find the part you're looking for!

 

You should be banned just for posting about doing a business deal with Robert. Nice sly way of saying that dirtbag is ok to do business with.

You're a bit out of line there buddy. Never once did I say "Rotary Shack is good to do business with." I simply stated that I've been fortunate enough to not experience a Rotary Shack horror story or get "scammed". I'm new to this forum and don't appreciate you being a dick. Everyone has the ability to choose who they do business with. There's obviously a lot of threads on this forum from what I've seen about scams that happened through Robert, so I don't expect people to want to do business with him and I'm not saying anyone should. I'm sorry TENAZ but I do not have a good relationship with him. I've only purchased a few things from him for my car, that's it. He is not my mechanic or anything. I don't know about your situation with him and it's not my place to get into his business problems. All I can say is if you were scammed or something, I hope justice finds it's way to you.

 

Justice is been done.He is a very dishonest person looking for any excuse to don't comply with his debt.He found the loophole in our system to avoid to pay me .Regardless the Judgment that I have is a Public record and It last for 10 years I can go in differents websites and making Famous for the scams he has done.I don't even I'd allow him to touch any of my cars even if he pays me.
I compare his services "As is services" like those mechanics oil change assistants,when they F... the work done,someonelse have to correct it.

 

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you get your money one day. I'm sure you can find other mechanics to do all the work you want on your car that will please you. I normally go through other companies so yea, thanks for the info.

But As I said back on my experience I had against RotaryShack Aka "Scam"
I will prevent members using his services because in the way he conducts his business.I can't careless if the whole Universe keep buying from him,I stand for the ones he has scammed either with parts or mechanical services
I know his *** is been watching with Magnifying Glass by Local,State and Federal Authorities.

 

dam guys i feel ur pain.. well i did business with rs one time and let me tell u it will be my last.. i did get my parts but it took him a year to ship them out. ya the parts were great but dam if it took that long they should have been dipped in gold or platinum..lol so that said stay clear from rs

 

O_O he never said it was worth $150 new he just said $20 and that mount doesnt seem like it would worth $150 its basicially just a metal piece with holes. oh well its okay im over it i already bought the mount off ebay for 5.99. its just that i didnt know the pricing on the mount im like kinda new to the rotary scene so i would just wondering if he would go lower thats all before i make the 1hr trip to him but i guess that wont be happening. but if he owns a shop at least he could do is not be a dick about it.

 

My friend and I bought an engine from RS. After a lot of phone calls and Rob calling my friends Mom a b*tch when she kept asking where the engine was we finally recieved it. The engine came with very low compression and wouldn't run on it's own.

 

Next time you want to buy an engine do youself a research on the vendor, before to buy and if You buy it buy a rebuilt one.

I also ordered parts from rotary shack.. supposed to be a boost prepped carb and intake... after months and months and calling and waiting i finally got it.... didn't get the heat blanket i iordered unitil i called back and also the manual... later when i put boost to the carb it sprayed fuel out of every orifice... so i had to boost prep it myself.... what a liar! NEVER AGAIN for me either!

 

Well is been almost 3 months I haven't heard nothing from the Unfamous Robert Lives Jr owner of the garage with no name DBA "Rotary Shack".
While I was on my FD on Mason and Plummer waiting to get the green light I saw Green Honda Accord waiting also to turn left on Plummer next to my left someone in the passenger side rolled the windows down and I soon I turned to left and I saw Him,he realized who I was,Robert Lives Jr rolled up the windows,As soon I got the Green Light I made a quick Stop next to them showing no no sign and finger down
for the them.
Now I know he is on the street looking for work like those Ilegall Aliens looking for work at Home Depo and Lowes . "REMEMBER WHATEVER GOES AROUND COMES AROUND"
