Question Questionable transaction with rx72c???

I bought 2 microtech lt10s and a fuel pump from him. I know he have been on here lately and he didn't reponse to my pms concering about the stud bought. How long does it take to ship something from AUS to USA? It have been 3 weeks and little communication have me worried.

International shipping can take months........Customs is a bitch. Three weeks + on an international shipment isn't all that unusual.

But why isn't he responding to my pms? He usually replied within a day but after the transaction it look like he's avoiding me?

Just so you know. normally the 4 bar map sensor upgrade on its own is normally $250 USD.

So your getting(normal prices)
Lt10s 1000 USD
X4 box $75 USD
Bosch coil packs $200 USD
4 bar map sensor upgrade $250 USD

that is $1525 USD.

Im happy to do it at $1030 USD delivered.

What if I buy 2 of this unit how much would that be?

I can split the delivery in half. Thats about it.

So $2000 USD delivered for two units. Thats the best i can do.

Ok it's a deal! Can you give me your paypal so I can send the money.

Thanks

James

my paypal email address is payment@raceonly.com.au

IF you give me your email address i can send you a request or you can just send 2000 USD to that email address.

This is the last time I heard from him: 11-07-08

Just wanted to know when do you think the stuff should be arriving here?

Thanks

James

James sorry for the delay. I have been told the goods will arrive wednesday/thursday absolute worst case scenario.

It was a problem in customs, i made an error in one of the documents.

I am very sorry for the delay. But i have pushed it through.

Thats OK mate!

I think the thing is its getting to the crazy time of the year. If he has posted it, then it could be the sheer volume of Christmas presents being shipped!

If it hasn't posted it, I'm sure theres a good reason. That could be he is busy, suppliers are being slow, stock is harder to find etc etc.

I have bought about $1500 worth of gear off him. This included a first purchase of

50mm IDA style throttle body
12A IDA intake manifold
IDA ram tubes
Haltech throttle position sensor
IDA fuel rail

And then once the funds built up again I got a custom plenum for my IDA setup through him also. He has VERY fast for the first purchase. To tell you the truth I phoned the manufacturer and got prices and availability from them first as I was going to go direct. They didn't have an essential part (the fuel rail), so I asked him next time he was online on msn. He went and found stock from a different source, and had it shipped to me by the end of the week. He also got me the colour I wanted! (I wanted purple ram tubes and injector clamps). He gave me advice on setup options etc etc, and helped me get the car going.

For the plenum he was a bit slower. He said the guy who builds them was busy/kept pushing back the time frame. It is a very specialised job welding aluminium like that in my opinion so I completely understand. Regardless It all arrived in good time and was in good condition.

My final point is raceonly are selling parts at very competitive prices (easier to buy and cheaper than a lot of the bigger places) so you have to understand they don't sit on $1M of stock like Summit would. Thats just not how the smaller businesses work....

Good luck but I am very confident it will come good.

For those of you having trouble reaching rx72c, I checked his profile and he had pretty much every method of contact switched off.

I modified those options so he should now get notifications of your PMs and you should also be able to email him directly from his profile.

International shipping does not take months
Of course if all depends on what kind of method you use but with the regular cheap serivce surface, the latest arrived after 3weeks . If you have a tracking number it really resolves a lot of problems

for example, i orderred on thursday some parts from japan and they were shipped out on last friday, Monday morning, (today), 2 days later, the package is at my house.
