Neukin information

Alright, so on the 18th of December in 2009 I ordered a V mount intercooler kit from Neukin for my brother's FC. I was very patient about it as my brother was out at sea on deployment in the Navy for a couple months and it wasn't my car. First contact I made with him was on January 23rd, I figured 4 weeks sounds about right to get some sort of progress done on it and it should be shipping out soon. Sounded like Alex would get it out to me within a short period of time. Told him I wasn't too rushed because of my brother's status on this, but to get it out as soon as possible. It took about a month for him to get back to me saying that he had been postponing it some because he knew I wasn't too rushed and said he would start working on it soon. Then I didn't hear anything for about 3 weeks, he said he was about done with it and just had to check the fitment of some things and it would be out the door our way. I also recieved some pictures of the intercooler, radiator and piping that was already done. Exactly a month later, on April 19th, I got an email asking some questions about which blow off valve I wanted to run and I answered him and tried to set an official deadline of when I was hoping it to be sent out of May 17th. Very doable time for an "almost complete" part I thought. A whole month...

Well, my brother got back and moved to a new place and decided to bring his car from Colorado out to San Diego about mid-May and so by the time it was all said and done it was the end of May before I had the car back in mind. I emailed him on the 27th of May asking if it were done and if he could ship it to this new address. He said it was basically done once again and ready to ship out soon.

My brother decided he would try to take over contact with them and hopefully instill some sort of initiative in them to actually finish the part. Since then it has been about 10 months of this back and forward nonsense of not responding and saying it will be shipped out and giving us dates of when it will ship out and on and on and on... We have tried just about every thing possible to just get it done. They have had my $1200 for almost a year and a half now and all they have given me is a load of frustration. My brother has now moved to washington and the car went up with him... So far this is the biggest thing holding up the process of making the car run.

So, this is the last straw I could think of. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They have done nothing to help me and have lied over and over again. If you guys know of anything that I might be able to do to get my parts or atleast get into contact with these people better, please share that with me. I really don't want to give them a bad reputation, but I feel it is the only thing I can do anymore. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Wrong section to put this in. We have both Bad Guy and Bad Business sections for this sort of thing.

^send a PM to one of the Mods, they'll move it. Even without you sending a PM they'll move it when they see it. BUT it will happen more quickly if you contact them rather than wait for them to see it.

That's unfortunate to hear. I know Alex, he's done a little bit of side work for me before (he's local), and he's always come off as a good guy. That said, I know he's slow moving, but a year is absolutely unacceptable. I would talk about a refund at this point, and look at legal action if he can't sort it out.

Since you are local, do you know if they have a phone number or anything that is easier to get ahold of other than email?

I've seen them post on here... Check the Single Turbo section. There was a thread in particular about Short Runner manifolds that they were posting in.

Eh... It looks like that may not work.. Here's a link for the thread, their post is #25 but it looks like that's about the last time they were active on this forum. Their Screen Name is Neukin.

Well, at least it was only a couple months ago. Thank you for that. It doesn't look like he posts much around here, but it's still something.

I just emailed him and got a pretty quick response back. Things seem to be falling into place and I should be getting my stuff soon. At times I would email him and then just not get a response back, but I think I now know what that was all about. He explained how he sometimes gets behind in trying to check all of his emails and some just get too far behind. I believe it may just have been a fault on my part for not showing too much priority for this as this is for my brother's car and he at the time was on deployment.

It seems things should turn out just great, it may have just been a lapse of communication between us. Like always, he is a very upstanding person. Just very busy it seems... I hope that soon I will be able to ask for this thread to be deleted or at the very least amended.

Well, I pretty much gave up on this company after 3 years. I guess thats what you get from a place specializing in honda parts. Honestly the worst company I have ever worked with and they need to go out of business. Terrible customer service, lying, fraudulent, down right scum of the earth. The real sour part is he acts like he is trying to work with you and then turns around and does nothing. The funny thing is I got pictures of parts that had my name on them, but I guess he must have just been a thorough liar. DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING ANYTHING FROM NEUKIN!!!

I emailed him again today and he got right back to me saying that he would get it shipped out soon. We will see if this one is more than just hot air.

wow, i wish i would of came across this before i ordered a manifold from them. i ordered it on September 13, 2013. i contacted them before ordering as their web pages requests about a eta. i was told a week i waited a month and contacted him and said about a week again this happened 6 times so far and we are at 4 months. the last two times he promised pics of the work so far and nothing. i am just sick of the promises when they are just lies. i requested a refund today hopefully i get a response this time the last three emails got no response. ii hope I'm not out the money. or maybe i might need to take feather action on this. any feed back would be appreciated thank you guys.
