Thumbs down Ebay business "Ltbmotorsports"

Won an auction for a MOMO steering adapter for a 2nd Rx7 I have which was wrecked the day AFTER I placed my bid. I emailed the seller explaining my situation and that I could not pay for an item that I no longer had a use for. I did this with 4 sellers and they all agreed to cancel the transaction accept "Ltbmotorsports." Citing that they do not especially care for my excuse and promptly gave me an unpaid item strike. I feel this sort of behavior is unacceptable for any business, especially one where you cannot take it to higher management (ebay customer service is almost useless). This is another reason I am hesitant to keep using ebay for the purchase of car parts.

Thanks for the look, I hope ebay "customer service" can help me out with this.

Well if you and the seller agree to cancel the bid ebay should reimburse him the listing fees.

I think once you bid and you win, its a contractual agreement. You have just been lucky with the last sellers.

So you have done this 5 times? I have had this happen to me on more than one occasion on E-bay and it's annoying. You should atleast pay for re-listing fee's.

Sorry to bump this, but I offered in almost every email to pay for the seller fees and he basically ignored me. Egay customer service would not help me either, so I'm just dealing with it I suppose.
