GA Beware rx-7 Restorations

After a bad event with this "business" I would like to vent a few things. Someone tell me if I`m wrong and I`ll take it back. Unfortunately I chose this "business" to rebuild the engine and do some peripheral work on my `84 GSL-SE. Most of the peripheral work was NOT DONE. I had to sue to get part of my money back. I`m checking to see if I can get more of it back. First things first, he (I`m not mentioning names, but his initials are BP) claimed to have a "shop". I sent the car on a truck so I didn`t see it first. A good point, ask for a picture of their shop. It was a 2 car garage in his back yard and there were already 5 cars there. He claims the engine was removed but the hood has never left this car. He didn`t check out the car as I had asked and I left with no brake lights, tail lights, or turnsignals or tag lights on the rear of the car. As I left it started to rain, that`s when I discovered I had no windshield wipers and when I turned on the defroster a rat`s nest, minus the rat, blew all over the interior including my eyes. When I got home I checked the oil, etc., and it was asblack as asphalt. He hadn`t bothered to clear the oil cooler. The car had sat for 9 years before I got it and I got it to run enough to load it on the truck. Longer story short, avoid this chump, he`s not honest annd he doesn`t do what he`s paid to do. Thanks for listening, jb5365...

Well I bought a camden from him. We negotiated a great price, I paid through paypal and crossed my fingers.

The item arrived very well packaged and the condition exceeded my expectations.

In my communication with him I felt this was a basic upstart business and your description of his shop matched what I would of expected.

My experience and communication has been very positive and when I expressed some concerns about selling an "old" camden to someone unknowing about the necessary upgrades vs selling to me for one hell of a deal, I felt he made an ethical decision selling it cheap to me.

Nothing but props from my end.....and I am well over a thousand miles away.
