Well I made a huge mistake by ordering an ABS Delete Kit from Robert at Rotary shack.
I sent him an email to see if they still made the kit for the FD, fast email back saying they still produce it and he also sent his phone number, so I called to confirm everything and find out the price, it was a bit expensive but from what Ive heard its a good quality simple bolt on kit so I didnt mind paying what he wanted.

I sent him the money(365.00 shipped) and he said it would be about 2 weeks for it to be made and shipped, I had no problem with that.

So I wait a few weeks and nothing, sent him an email to check up on it, he said it would be out the following week, so I wait and yet again nothing. I was still able to get ahold of him by phone not long after that and then started getting BS stories from there.
It has now been roughly 3 months, I was told about 3 weeks ago that it shipped and I should have gotten it, which of course was just a BS story. I got ahold of him not to long ago and he said he was gonna look into it for me but was really busy and to call the next day. I of course called, no answer, left a message and no call back.

Ive called daily for the past couple of weeks now with him no answers and now he just hits the reject button so it goes straight to voice mail. Not even man enough to pick up the phone and talk to me about this.

I thought Rotary Shack was supposed to be a decent shop but obviously I was wrong. If a shop is that bad that they have to rip people off for 365.00 dollars thats just sad.

At this point I obviously just want my money back, but Im sure if hes not man enough to pick up a phone I doubt he'll paypal me any money back. Hell I cant even get him to email me anymore.

I would like to ask you, how is it that you decided to email them? did someone contact you at all through this forum about them or their products? Rotary Shack has been permanently banned from doing any business on this forum because of their history of taking hundreds and even thousands of dollars from people and not ever delivering what was paid for. What led you to believe that they were a good shop? I am curious about that because since they were banned, some of Rob's friends have been on this forum drumming up business for him, and this is strictly not allowed here.

I've posted before as have many others. I did get a great product, at a very good price, "however" delivery was brutal. Will he keep his word on delivery, never, will you get a good product, for me it was a yes, but for many it is a roll of the dice. I have pms from some who waited months for what should have been a couple weeks, some who got immediate delivery and some who have never received their product.....it's a roll of the dice.

Any shop you paid for parts you get your parts on time...
I wonder when you said great product ..????
Thats is not reason to make you wait...no excuses.

For example look the port job he did on my engine and he charged me $600 for that job. Do you guys see any port job ...?

He tried to charge me again for the porting he supposed to do and he never did before my car's engine broke down.






or the Turbo he sold me ($500) on the job he did on my car found noise in the hot side of the turbo and noise on the actuator.The turbo produced 5 pounds of boost only.
I had to pay a turbo repair shop to fix it properly.

Yup I heard it before too............................................... ................................... You wait and you get Top notch work right....?
or every shop has their Unhappy Customers.....?

I know now where I can get a good quality work without the long wait.....

For me as and for any other member that look for services on your car or try to buy parts wouldn't gamble what you call roll of dice.
Perhaps you are Rob's friends then you don't need to worry about it.
(wait or no wait,I can careless).
I made a mistake having him working on my Car even I live close to his garage.
I just pick him by reference from this forum.
I tell you this : I don't mind if someone works in a garage
(just to make his Daily living,making his money with honesty and sincerety toward his customers) I understand that (My Dad taught me that)
But when someone starts with Lies and making things up to put you in a situation without appreciation for the time He made me wait to have repair my car Under his word "warranty and will take care of" ...instead Change the things around I know in that time He is no a man of his word.... Besides the work he charged me He didn't perform and the Missing, Broken or used parts he returned me....He just was concern only to get more money from me....
(And thanks to a few mechanics and the Forum Moderator made me think right on time.)
I know he has done this before with another of his formers customers,I believe some of those formers customers didn't act like me and another of his former customers taking him in Court to get our money Back for the job,parts he performed in our cars + the expenses(engine rebuilt ,Mechanic's Labor and parts) we will incurr to have our cars be operational again.
I may call the moderator from this forum to testify in Court my experience and other members experience with RS if it goes that far

Since Rotary Shack is banned from this forum and no longer allowed to sell parts in here, I am going to close this thread. However, this is not the end of the issue, obviously. mboostin, I am going to send you a PM....also, know this, you are definitely not the only one that got bitten by the RS bug. I have gotten PMs from several members recently who also lost money and got nothing in return. But keeping this thread open will not solve anything, and it may in fact only invite Rob's friends to try to dispute the claims made, and I am not going to allow that train wreck to happen in here again. If anyone has questions or their own issue with this shop, feel free to PM me about it. Thanks
