Let me start off by admitting that yes, after hearing several more horror stories to mine, I was a bit angry when I made the previous post. I had some reviews and it had been a long time since I dealt with my dilemma. That being said, I had a seriously fraudulent issue. I bought new rotor housings and an Atkins rebuild kit, and had them rebuild the core I sent in. When I got it back, it never fired properly. I had it at Mazda, and a Pettit installer's for months with Atkins trying to trouble shoot. They were during the process, and offered to look at it if I pulled the engine back out and sent it in. I did so, and they tried to tell me it was perfect. They sent what they said was my engine back and same thing, except this time I got scrap parts thrown together. The rotor housings were worn, with tons of carbon tracking and signs of MUCH more wear than a few dozen attempted starts. I sent that motor to Pettit, and that is what was noted upon disassembly as well. I then found that the rotors had been machined unevenly, and it had a 2nd gen e-shaft. What an outrage! My brand new (and very expensive) parts are just gone? If I would have not been so broke I would have persued it legally, but the next best thing is to warn others. Atkins rotary was rude, lied to me, and stole my parts. Don't let this happen to you.

..you told us that you sent your motor back three times, and each time, they sent you a "new motor that didnt run". But NOW, you claim that you sent yours back and they sent back a junk motor? Your story just does not add up. And even if it did, 8+ years later?? LET THIS GO ALREADY. I locked one of these threads earlier, so you then post up several more of the same, all in different sections of the forum where they dont belong??

Obviously, you do not care to pay attention to the rules here, which in turn means that I do not care to have you posting at all on this forum. Best of luck to you, elsewhere...
