I did some more testing on stylemon's car today. I changed the 500cc nozzel location from post intercooler to pre-turbo and the temps went up 7C. Switched back and they came right back down.. Interesting...

Volume. Get yourself some VP methanol, most dirtbike/offroading places carry it.
Many years ago I tried water only pre-compressor with a stock intercooler and couldn't get the temps to drop. Then I swapped to 100% meth and they can rocking down( 23psi on a To4B)...
You usually don't see a temp drop with water only with a good intercooler.
Also on a side note when I changed the 500cc jet to pre compressor only, the discharge temps right off of the turbo dropped from 120C to 60C...
We are going to add a 200cc jet upfront in addition to the 500cc jet post intercooler and hit the dyno, hopefully next week...

I have an old turbo book, printed 1978, and some guys at Bonneville were using Preturb.
go figure how tech just disappears, and then shows up again, 30yrs later.

Your updates on pre and post turbo operation got me to go ahead and order the additional parts for dual nozzle operation. I'm running the original Coolingmist Varicool system. It shipped with 380cc and 760cc jets. I figure I can add the 380cc pre turbo. The 760 has been post intercooler pre throttle body.
How are the plugs holding up with that much water? I was using 100% meth before and had a leak develop at the pump. I've been wanting to go water since that happened.

Plugs have been holding up just fine.
I added a fmic to that red fd that used to have the XS power stock mount location.
