Recommendation on nozzle placement.

1988 Mazda Rx7. ARC intercooler.

Where should I install this nozzle? See two pictures of ideas?

Any suggestions?

Intuitively the first location/picture would be my choice for even distribution. But I can be a klutz. If there's a way to damage that nozzle sticking out there, given enough time, I'd find it.

No real easy place to mount on this car. The Issue with the first pick is.that we are spraying into the air flow and into the intercooler. Second mounts it in a not so nice position but more with flow direction.

Still have not mounted it. Not sure yet.

You know, it didn't register with me that this is the outlet side of the IC. Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to mount it on the other end somewhere?

According to the AEM manual it is recommended against. I gather it will fill the intercooler more with water then the engine.
