Quick Help on Cooling Mist setup

I have searched but no real luck on my concerns. I'm installing the simple cooling mist boost variable kit on my T76 single setup this weekend. I got the system for safety when racing and against bad gas during street driving.
During street driving my boost is set at 12psi and during racing 28psi on race gas. I want to install the system and forget about it except to add water. Here are my questions..

1. Should I install the large or small nozzle? Horsepower will range from 250 to 450 depending on either race on street driving.

2. Can I run the water through my old nitrous line? There is an old line still there and I found the required adapters. I can't see a problem once I flush it good.

3. I want to install the nozzle at the old nitrous jet location which is in the Greddy elbow about midway. Is that too close to the throttle body?

Like I said I,m only looking to use the system to protect the engine so I need settings from 8 psi to 30psi and the confirmation of nozzle size and location. I'm thinking of installing the large nozzle and setting the adjustment at 5% for 8psi and at 100% for 30psi.

28 psi = large nozzle.

(i am surprised you are running 28 psi and only making 450)

yes you can run it thru the nitrous line providing it is the same or close to the same i d.

the elbow is a good spot for water injection.

good luck,

howard

Thanks Howard,

I don't know what HP I'm really is running its is probably more than that but I will be guessing. We don't have a dyno on the island.

The nitrous line is a bit larger but I don't see it being a problem since the adapter at the nozzle reduces it to the same size.

What should I be looking out for when using it to nake sure I don't have too much water injection. Any quick and easy tuning tips that I can do with the Datalogit?

off your topic, but can't you use pump gas and meth with this kit to get those boost levels?
