New AEM V3 nozzles

Wow, not sure if anyone has checked them out yet, but I am impressed. I was going to up my 250 nozzle to the 500, but I may just get the V3 nozzles and stick with the 250. I have V2 now on Hitachi sp twins around d 13-14psi.
The V3 seems superior. Any thoughts?

Lol. Well that is cool. Glad you waited. I will just buy the upgraded nozzles I guess. I think it is worth it. At least they did a damn good job of selling me. I just need to decide if I should stick with the 250 or go 500.
350whp.

I guess I could give the 500 a try and either turn it higher than my boost will reach so it never gets to max or just swap back to the 250 if it's too much.

And yw. I imagine a lot don't know about it so I thought I would bring it up.

That's where mine is mounted, but I don't see how it could have any issues. I would prefer the "water proof" one though I guess.
I will try and remember if it is raining to turn it off lol.

350whp.
There is a formula in the stickys to determine nozzle size based on power. 250 is too little and 500 may be on the “way plenty” side.

I know. Here lies the problem (good problem to have). I think the 250 is only showing for NA autos also. To be honest though my knock values are very low so I know the 250 is doing something. Maybe I just have an exceptionally smooth motor, my timing is too conservative, or my knock sensor isn't accurate? lol. Not sure what my benefits will be going to the 500. May be too much on the twins. I may get bored eventually and go 16psi, but 13-14 is pretty damn serious for a street car right now.
This why I am a bit excited about the v3 nozzle.

It isn't like I can't try both. Or put the 500 and just not crank it all the way. I am not sure how good my threads are though when I installed this one. I never used a bung. So putting them in and out over and over may not be the best idea.

Wow Red thanks for the info. I was getting ready to order and I will hold off for a bit and see if they correct this issue. Now I see a couple other people had issues also. Thanks!!!

Hey guys, those that are mounting their pump in the wheel well can you take a picture of how you have it mounted? I'm looking for some inspiration. I just picked up the V3 nozzle, but I'm using the extreme environment snow pump, not the AEM one.

Interesting. My initial plan was to mount it on the diff subframe, but my fuel filter is mounted there and I'd have to get fancy with the bracket - also the wiring in my haltech harness is in the front of the car, so now I need to mount it up front.

Check Sgtblue's for front. I mounted mine with the Sakebomb's mount in the rear.

You didn’t mention where your tank will be, but I think my pump location would still be low enough to allow gravity feed to the pump from a rear hatch fluid tank/reservoir.

IMO, while the new AEM nozzles are nice, they limit you in size options and relegate you to having to use shitty push to connect hose fittings. I use ProMeth personally, but there are other quality options as well.

I was kinda surprised at the size options but been running the same system for about 10 years and haven’t had any issues with the push connections.
