Kind of curious what the the fuel economy of e85v93 is for everyday driving, I plan on putting the FD on a track a few times but mostly its pure street. something t hat hasn't been mentioned is cost of setup.

you normally need 30% more E85 when compared to pump gas.

but the loss in milage is worth it to me with the advantages. but if you live far from the stations, you have to decide for yourself if its worth it...

I think I'm going to stick to AI until more stations pop up till then this is the only choice for me IMO

I'm not about drag racing but when you build and fine tune your car you will want to do an 1/8 mile run to see whats your trap speed which will allow you to have an Idea where you at.Performance wise tho.
Yeah you make a whole lot of sense here buddy... ?
Get a clue...

enzo 250 what kind of fuel economy would you expect to see with a setup like mine?
With a 3 rotor you will spool basically anything you want.. It will never be sluggish..

You will be just fine with a 4788. Trust me..

Also my brother's car went from gas to E85 and he basically gets the same gas mileage cruzing as he did before with gas.. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get somewhere around 150~200miles per tank of gas..

I would honestly set your car up for E85 and for whatever reason if you don't like it you can always go back to gas very easily. Where as if you set it up for gas from the start it would be more involved getting it setup for E85. (fuel system)

E85 will make more power then gas and will do it safely.

I feel your taking a chance with a car of your caliber and hp goals and then run with pump fuel..

Rotary's are not forgiving and one mistake and your engine is toast.

E85 and street driven rotarys are a match in heaven.

not doubting you but i have to ask. How is your brother getting the same gas mileage considering E85 simply just has less btu's. Im no tuner by any extent so maybe its in the tuning but I'am a little confused about how it can produce the same mpg. also with e85 do you use a special premix or larger amount of it.

As for fuel mileage. When your making huge levels of power, you have to remember your using huge amounts of fuel regardless of fuel type.

My car has is swallowing in excess of 7.5 litres of fuel per minute at 700rwhp.

Thats normal 93 octane as you call it with water injection. Thats on 34psi.

So it can be done, it can be reliable. No need for meth or any of that junk. You can use straight water and a good tune.

GT4788r will be fine for mid range. Actually have alot.

E85 is also a good option. You can run leaner mixtures in general so it wont change that much from normal petrol and it is a much safer fuel to tune on, it is 10X harder to damage an engine. It is very good stuff. Have run up to 35psi on straight e85 on a customer car.

I should be doing a few 1000+hp 13bs soon on e85. Dedicated drag cars. I think methanol is over rated and too much maintenance.

how much fuel are you consuming when you are just putting around town obviously gas mileage is not good at wide open throttle but when you granny it what kind of fuel effiency r u getting.

another thing im noticing, and reading. is that e85 MPG is considerably lower, but since its cheaper its about the same as running 93, not to mention safer and dont have to worry about meth. seems like the decision makes itself.

it wouldnn't be a question if it wasnt for the fact that i may run out of gas before I can make it back home on a saturday night or to the nearest station considering oklahoma city has 2 stations that sell it the closest is 16 miles from my house
