Hey guys, well i finally got 90% of upgrades planned out. But the problem is I like the look of the stock top mount. Since my goals are pretty reasonable(350rwhp) would running a meth injection kit such as the Coolingmist stage1 kit with a decent sized nozzle and a 50/50 mix allow me to keep the top mount? I've read about people running meth and not using a intercooler at all so I figure I'd be fine, but a little assurance is always nice.
Also would an cry02 intercooler sprayer help at all? I personaly dont think that the spray would add any extra on top of the meth but a buddy of mine swears itll cool down the air much faster. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

 

I've made 450rwhp on the stock top mount and a tremendous amount of meth pre turbo many many years ago.. The top mount is definitely a restriction, especially on the top end.

 

So I is possible, but doesn't seem practical if you say you had to use that much meth. Maybe ill have to give in and get a fmic.

 

It'll work, schaft. Use the 50/50 combo and park the nozzle(s) post TMIC in the adaptor to the throttle. Try and get it to spray straight in if you can.

 

Sweet, Im just worried about the adapter being rubber.

 

Use the aluminum inlet to the throttle body.
