Talking Help me put together a Meth Kit

Ok ppl,

Need your expertise. I would like to run full alcohol injection to eliminate the need for a large front mounted inter-cooler on my car.

Here's what I have. S4 Tii motor w/ S5 tii rotors. Street ported. Walbro fuel pump. 1000cc primary injectors, 1600cc secondary injectors. Haltech, GT35 turbo, 44mm WG, stock top mount IC.

I wish to have it on 12-14psi for normal street driving but hope to run up to 18 or 19 psi of boost eventually. I want to retain the stock IC. (A FMIC is too much of a give away in my opinion.) Car will be a daily driver and occasional track car. Will never be dragged.

Please advise me on an Alky setup, what and where I can get them.

Thank you all in advance.

given your objectives i think your car would run just fine retaining the topmount IC and utilizing alcohol.

considering you will not be drag racing the setup i think the emphasis should be on driveability. (most systems will solve all your potential for knock).

i am of the opinion that there is an advantage to being able to tune on a cell by cell basis. that's where you get your best tune/tractability.

if you were primarily drag racing i think a progressive PWM pump setup would work fine.

the other feature required for an up-to-date AI system is a High Speed Valve.

rather than try to accelerate a pump at varying rates the HSV or S-HSV is signaled when to open just like a fuel injector. the pump's function changes to just provide ample constant pressure for the Valve.

HSV= much more accurate delivery.

currently, Aquamist and FJO offer a HSV w a cell by cell tune.

Coolingmist offers a S-HSV but as yet does not offer a cell based tune system. i understand it is in the works and i would expect/hope it would just be an upgrade.

AI systems are evolving rapidly from RV pumps and Home Depot parts into sophisticated systems similar to our OEM fuel systems.

when properly tuned they are MAGIC as to allowing us to really use our turbos rather than just ontrack or the dyno.
