FJO A/I and Haltech E8 Run.

A few weeks ago I rented the dyno for a day and two friends of mine Nik and Cheng and I played with the car. First pull did around 360rwhp 15psi on a original tune of Steve Kans. (On a dynojet this car pulled 410rwhp)

Then we turned up the boost to 18ish and it pulled 401rwhp on the mustang dyno.

We did not touch ignition or split. Here is the dyno chart.

Car
1988 FC. Turbonetics TO4B60-1 .96a/r .70trim. 3" exhaust street port.

A/I kit is FJO controlled by the E8 generic DC map. Haltech turns on the pump for preset amount of time once passed 1psi. Low level in tank changes map.

I think there can be more out of it. Hopefully.

You can tell I have a shaky hand!

You can attend next time. There is still alot left that can be done so I will be renting the dyno for another day.

Honestly no idea. Too busy monitoring A/F ratio and boost. I don't have logging on egt. Hopefully with the new version 1.8 for the E8 I will wire it in for logging.

Also I did not notice any changes logging Air intake temps with the A/I on. Measuring with a temperature gun on the intercooler piping when spraying the temps did decrease but I would have to ask the dyno operator how much.

I doubt I will get a comparision with and without A/I since I'm not sure how to pull a 18psi run without the A/I. (I did accidently pull a full 18psi run without the A/I turned on.)

I am mostly just using the A/I for 15psi and above.

Are you injecting before or after the air temp sensor?

Your injecting after the intercooler right?

Injecting after the intercooler about 1.5 feet to 2 feet away from the throttle body. the AIT is in the greddy elbow on the Throttle body.

Going to remove some fuel and eventually make my way back to the dyno and possible adjust timing. Look at upgrading my ignition.
