here's the thread for you DIY-ers. let's see how creative you all are... i am sure that there will be some interesting ideas developed. there are lots of home brewed AI systems out there.

Here is what i have been thinking alot about

Add an additionl fuel injector right before the throttle body
(MSD offers a SS injector to stand up to 100% meth)
one 650cc meth injector would put you at 15% of fuel if you have 550s/1600s

Have my E8 control the meth injector just like the Secondaries.... it would activate the meth injection whenever the secondaries are online and would follow the Fuel curve (Duty Cycle) perfectly.

Then have a small fuel cell in back with pump and fpr to controll the pressure ... So when your injector staging is reached the E8 will start the meth pump and activate the meth injector to follow the secondaries duty cycle

Actually the primaries. secondaries. and meth injector will run at the same duty cycle once past the staging bar.....if you are staging

The nice thing would be the E8's ability to have two maps stored...you could tune one map for running meth and if you would select the other map you would have a tuned map for off meth, and the meth pump and injector would be disabled by jsut switching maps

What flaws are there to this setup... give me some input

Pump slection is my main problem

well we can help each other figure this out. I wanted to run a 50/50 like you also till i ran into the whole rusting thing... but your thread has the solution to that

K here is the only question we need figured out.... the pump

I have my NA pump i wanted to first use also... we must be brothers from another mother

But will that stand up meth/water?.... my worry was that gas doesnt conduct electricity and water does... and that would lead to the pump failing or not working at all... i cant find a cutaway off a regular fuel pump for the life of me.
how do they work? id guess it is a vane or gear pump

Like we could use a shurflow diaphram pump... but are we gonna get the pressure down to 40ish with an fpr with that type of pump?

I was just going to keep the FPR in back with the pump and tank.....then you could just plump it correctly and not worry about a return line.. and would jsut have to run one pressure line to the engine bay.... How were you going to Handle pressure and lines????

I remember looking at the pump when I had it out, I believe it was a centrifugal vane type.
I had thought of the FPR in back, but it would need a vacuum reference wouldn't it? It wouldn't be too hard to run a vacuum line back there.

One thing I had thought about lines was putting a fish tank filter on the tank purge line, then using that hardline to the front of the car. Some teflon hose with SS braiding or silicon hose could be used to connect it all.

The problem with conductivity could be solved by having the pump half in the tank, half out.

I guess i wasnt going to worry about the vac refrence... thought it would be a negligible diff.... but wouldnt be hard to add as you said

describe what you were talking about the fish filter and purge line, i dont fully understand

I was worried about the conductivity because of the pump internally.... i didnt know if fuel flowed around the electric motor as well to cool/lubricate or something of that nature, and the water would just short the motor

I am not going to submerge the pump... i am going to mount it outside the tank, with lines feeding it and have the fpr right there as well

Normally the fuel tank is vented to the charcoal canister under certain conditions. This is controlled by a solenoid at the tank. The vent line runs to the front using a hardline that runs alongside the fuel feed/return lines.

In the upper right diagram, you replace C with a fish tank filter

The thing I was worried about was the filter overheating since it wouldn't have water all around it.
