coolingmist

im about to order the coolingmist stage one kit. nicely priced at 199 with the 150psi pump.

im looking to make 400+ WHP with around 18-22 pounds of boost. i will not be running an intercooler, and would like to run distilled water only.

exactly how does it activate with boost?

if i set it at 5psi, is that when it will open? and as my boost climbs to it 18-22 psi max, will it inject more water, or is it misting at full potential the second it turns on? also, with the HP and boost im planning on running, is the 150psi pump good enough. or should i upgrade to the 250.

this will be on a dialy driver with some drag use at the track.

if i was to run a 50/50 water meth mix, what would i need to do besides a retune?

just called them... big help. good guys.

to answer my own questions. it will turn on for whatever boost i set it at and come on at full power. so it does not progress as the boost raises. for for another 199 you can get the pregressive controller wich does just that.

I have the progressive trunk mount kit but I customized it with some other components so I dont need the controller anymore

the progressive controller is their 4-120psi varicool which has boost sensor for boost progressive control and 0-5V input for dual input injection curve using their software.

The trigger boost can be as low as 1psi if you set it via the pc interface instead of the ***** and I actually like it better since you can turn off the ***** so that the setup wont change if they are accidentally moved.
