Camden Supercharger and water injection

Hi all,

Having read some of the posts on the board about the roots style superchargers available at Camden Superchargers/Atkins one of the big limitations of this style of SC is the amount of heat it produces. I also understand that due to the design an intercooler is not really a practical solution.
My question is: How big a difference in power generation would water injection make in a setup of this kind versus not running water injection for a given anount of boost? And does anyone have any experience with water injection using one of the Camden systems? In this case is water injection a practical substitute for an intercooler or am I looking at water injection in the wrong way?
Thank you,
Peacedog

I have a EFI Camden Supercharger. RP Performance installed it, but they built a motor that is only good for a boat anchor as it doesn't run. I am having a new motor built and in the process, had KDRotary contact ZZperformance.com. They are looking into making an aftercooler, in which the blower sits right on top of the aftercooler. They are suppose to get back to us by the end of the month or so. The bolt pattern that they currently have on the GTP is close, but not exact. Their engineer seemed pretty interested in it though.

If they do produce it, I think it will open a new door for the roots blower as heat is a major issue.

Let you know more when we hear back from them.
