Al/Meth./Water. Air temp. sensor???
Where would the best place to put the nozzle? My air temp sensor is about 4in. away from my TB on a GReddy Elbow. Wouldn't the moisture mess up the sensor? Also, wheres the best place to place the nozzle, before or after the air temp sensor? I'm running a MicroTech.
I am really considering putting a system on my car, only for a safty net for now, and later down the road when I want to go crazy I can use it for that as well.
Thanks
David

You need to put the air temp sensor after the meth nozzles so you can monitor the changes in air temp. When using pure meth (what im doing) they say it cant damage the sensor because when the meth mixes with the air charge most if it evaporates immediately absorbing the heat. Im not sure on using 50/50 though.

i guess there are going to be differing opinions here but apparently they all are working.
that said, there are a number of good reasons to relocate your air intake temp sensor to the tube connected to the exit side of your IC. that is where mine is and yes it does not therefore read temperature of the intake stream w the methanol.
if you locate it so it reads injectant temp you get into the temp correction tables which have nowhere near the fine tuning as the base fuel cells.
the meth nozzle/s need to be a distance upstream from the throttle body so the meth has time to "flash." my meth injectors are one inch from the upstream end of the elbow. if you look at my various install threads you will get a better idea as to positioning.
