AI injection locations

What is the benefit of injecting Alcohol further either further from, or closer too the intake ports?

I would like to make a spacer plate and inject between the lim and UIM.

Any thoughts on this?

I had the idea to do a nitrous type direct injection setup, and even use hardlines and nitrous Ys w/ the proper type of injector/mister.
Still just an idea

the spacer is a good idea but a bit unessasary given the fact you could just as easily drill and tap the uim. As far as that location being optimal I'm not sure.
