Ai 2025

as our aftermarket ECUs leap forward various modules we knew and loved become extinct.

boost control
wide band AFR control
knock control

and a big YES to AI control modules.

i have used Julio Don's Alkycontrol system since 2003. the only components i have changed are the pump and nozzles. this wasn't a surprise since Julio is an Electrical Engineer as well as a bigtime racer.

but it is bye bye Alkycontrol. Hello Link Extreme w the help of wonderful Jeffry Evans of Evans Performance Academy.

here's Jeff's schematic of a typical ECU driven system. i truly hope he doesn't take offense to this as most readers could probably draw it up in short order.

Jeff's video is 40 minutes of navigating thru the Link ECU and, as all his videos, deserves an A for content and an A for delivery. i bought his Link G4 set which has around 50 40 minute videos and today bought his G5 series that has 133!

i seriously doubt that, on my own, i could properly set up an internal AI system with all the safeguards. with Jeff's 40 minute video it is a walk in the park..

a few tips...

get to know ProMeth... Rodney. cutting edge nozzles, pumps. ProMeth has the hardware you want.

mostly stock FDs should opt for the AEM system w around 400 cc of water. single turbo seriously consider water meth around 600 cc. the meth segment removes 60 F from your charge air.

if you have an advanced ECU look into folding your AI into it.

i don't know much about Haltech but assume it can run an AI system. Jeff has Haltech covered if you want to explore further.

if you are looking for answers look into Evans Performance Academy.
