Question aftermarket temp gauges

anyone know of any decent priced ones that comes with a gauge and sender to read air temp?

im using one already for my haltech, im thinking of something separate. it appears my gm one for haltech is getting heat soaked and thus not showing me drops in temps.

You can probably just buy another GM unit and run it into an AUX input or something on your Haltech..

all of my inputs are taken. only PWM are left

just my sensor seems slow to drop in temps. while driving itll start to climb slowly usually

Maybe that's your actual air temps?

Does the haltech have a calibration for using the stock sensor? If so the replacement one that several of us are using will work with it. It's pretty much instant in it's reaction speed.

I was actually refering to the fd sensor, but the fc sensor might have the same resistance curve as the fd sensor. I'll look in the fsm and see for sure.

That was the first i heard of the car show in austin, sounds fun though. Do you have more info?

austin car show,, saturday, october 31,2009, at Rudys Bar b que, on 183 ,, research blvd, n. austin
starts at 9am till 5pm.

lot of cool cars, along with old domestics,hot rods,etc.
MK lV Supras. nissan GTRs, vipers, gallardos, corvettes,

austin rotary club. will have 6-8 RX7s, gen, 1-2-3s,, we got a personal area for club!

racin starts after midnight!

I use a SPA dual gauge for boost and AIT in one guage with play back and programable warning but for what options you get, they really are a good deal
