i have been through most of the workshops in the Brisbane area and have concluded Mazsprint to be the most honest and genuine. Ben is well experienced with all things rotor and that includes the s6 motor and turbos.

Dyson are also good and don't BS around but feel they don't have the same dedication

Show us some pics of the new beast

Stu's is a 92 Aussi model. Looks beautifull, just needs some TLC. We picked it up a couple of weeks ago.

Stu, we going to put your interior back in this weekend ?? I'll bring those S8 door trims out of my shed too!!!

What after market engine management systems are tuners most familiar with in Brissy and Aus?

Most people Ive spoken to seem to recommend Microtech.

Do you guys know of any tuners in Brisbane who can tune Apexi or Greddy FCON etc?

Hi all

I've been to Maz-Fix for a service on my stock auto '82 RX7 and they seem pretty good, but maybe expensive. I hadn't realized until I showed up at their workshop that they are a performance place and so probably wouldn't have gone to them knowing that, because of the expected associated costs etc. I will check out the Mazsprints workshop next.

Cheers

Hey Jim

Been So slack and busy with work...I have not gone back to fix the problem yet because they need the car cool. I just had the cat replaced to high flow and the wire was not hooked up back to the cat so the light is red all the time now. Also need to leave it there to fix the AC... more $$....sigh....

Other than that cars running great!

Oh well, at least its winter now.!

My cat light comes on now and then. Normally after a 2 hour drive...then if i get stuck in a traffic jam. Give the car a rev......and that nice cold rich black smoke cools her down and the light goes off.

Daioni, whats the go with yours? Is it because of the PFC, or its running hotter now coz of the extra HP?

mine comes on all the time - just a flicker usually, but sometimes it stays on for a second. Usually a little on (hard) open throttle, and more when I back off. At first I thought it might just have been an electronic f@ckup related to the pfc - but the way it is happening makes me think that it is mechanical

I'm putting in a metal cat at the same time as I get the pfc tuned - but I'm hoping that it all holds together for a while, because I'm not moving south until august. In fact, I'll be driving the car all the way down honshu - I've never driven it on a long haul - I hope it all stays together!!
