To Turbo Or Not to Turbo

Hi

Ive Just Bought A Non-Turbo Series 4 !986 RX-7 after doing some research I have found that my car was a limited Non-Turbo edition produced in 1986 only (not the australian spec model). My issue is if I drop a turbo in it and put all the turbo vents and scoups on it would I be ruining a rare car????

ive had the same prob with my 85 rx7 with a 12a but with the new laws for p platers i would say leave it and go crazy on the ports and other smaller mods and see if u like the power output

I'm doing it to my American Spec '86. If you want info on N/A turbo conversions try these two links. If its a high compression engine (9.4-9.7:1), be careful.

In regards to p-plate laws they dont apply to drivers who have had their liscence since before the 1st of july this year I have already researched this as i was looking at a 94' twin turbo supra but the rx-7 came up and i went and had a look at it and luved it so i bought it instead.
