Question about Australian Company - SMB

Hey Guys, thought I'd ask you guys from "down unda" a question about SMB and their reputation in Australia.

I'm looking at their direct fit hi-flow converter and just wanted to get a better feel about the quality of the company. http://www.smb.net.au/fullsystemsmazdarx7.htm

Thanks for any input.

If you're looking at getting a high flow cat, Magic Performance has recently released a new 4in cat that supposedly flows some ridiculous amount of air. Someone else can probably help, it was in a Zoom magazine a couple of months ago. I'll see if I can find it and give you the stats and their website

OK found it. Can't seem to find a website or anything which is a bit of a problem. They did flow test it and came up with the following results:
4in pipe = 1629cfm
4in Magic Converter = 750cfm
3in pipe = 1152.4cfm
3in Super Cat Converter = 496cfm
3in Super Cat Converter (revised edition) = 524cfm

Estimated price was $AU500 plus fitting but it doesn't help very much if you can't contact them. As for the other guys that you wanted to know about, can't really help with that.

EDIT: Supposedly these guys can get it if you want more information. http://www.croydonautosports.com.au/

rynberg: the obvious link to mazda australia gives some weight to their reputation - but, I'd have to say 'SMB' don't have a popular following in the aftermarket. HOWEVER - from checking their contact page - they appear to perhaps be a part of Walker - which is a very well known company - with very high quality products (suppliers to both OEM and aftermarket).

they seem to have close relations with the company responsible for the SP gear. High quality looking gear.
