Thumbs down New to RX7club.com

Hi all,

From Sydney and have just bought a 2002 FD RX7, can I just say that everyone in the world knows how to modify RX7's except Australians, I have spent a week viewing RX7club member cars and must say they look awesome

I then started looking at Ausrotary.com and have to say that I was embarressed!

Ive never ever seen so many badly modified FD's

wake up Australia! Sheesh!

On aesthetics I would have to agree with you, but remember the majority of FD owners in this country purchased the car solely on aesthetics, probably have no idea to the workings of the car and are generally all show no go.

On real modifications however Australia is at the top of the pack

"probably have no idea to the workings of the car "

"On real modifications however Australia is at the top of the pack"

Lets be honest here, Lebo's buy and modify these cars to the point where are they are ghetto'd to with an inch of their life.

Try reading it again; I have highlighted certain aspects of the post to help you with your reading. If you wish I can give you a lesson on spelling too?

On aesthetics I would have to agree with you, but remember the majority of FD owners in this country purchased the car solely on aesthetics, probably have no idea to the workings of the car and are generally all show no go.

(New paragraph signifys to start of a new point/idea)

On real modifications however Australia (notice Australia and FD Owners is not the same thing) is at the top of the pack.

But you stipulate that the majority of Australian owners have probably no idea to the workings of the car, yet Australians are at the top of the pack in modifying them I presume. This doesn’t really make any sense and in actual fact contradicts what you have said, plain and simple.

I like the lessons in punctuation and spelling, thankyou.

If you both wanna get it right, it's actually only the EAST coast of Australia that ***** up FD's!

Over here on the WEST coast we keep 'em simple and sweet ...

(now back to the bitchin... )

Hey mate, thats good to hear!

It breaks my heart to see 20" Chrome wheels on a resprayed FD in Kermit the frog green with some sort of Ghetto sitcker on the back window with the springs removed completely making it look like the FD is scared of heights. LOL

Yes you can. Current wisdom states you can do two of the three at the same time but not all at once - a cat back, mid-pipe or intake - without an issue. Anymore than that without an ecu change/replacement/update and the motor tends to go lean and boom.

Now if you upgrade the ecu, then all bets off. My single turbo non-ported motor made 430hp at the wheels. I have a Microtek ecu. All my mods are basically bolt on. I just pulled the motor apart yesterday.......time for a bridge port
